Stood Up On First Date.

Maybe. Depends on what my gut is telling me.

I got stood up once. I was 19, I think, and the fellow said he would take me to dinner and a show. I got all dolled up and waited at the Bread Garden, where we were suppose to eat, for over an hour. Never heard from the guy, either.

I am sorry that happened to you. Is your gut telling you to give her the benefit of the doubt and allow her to have a second chance?

 

i feel like if they stood you up on the first date, they probably don't want a second chance.

if she did ask for a second chance, i don't necessarily know what i would do. i think it would depend on multiple factors.

If she really stood you up, you would probably never hear from her again. If she is trying to reschedule then she probably was legit ill...or stood you up for someone else and decided that person was a douche.

 

Drop acid with her, don't try to force a destiny. She'll either love you and it goes on or doesn't, or she's dumb!

 

her reason/excuse for standing me up. whether she's someone i already know and possibly have some level of trust in. probably how attractive i actually find her and how desperate i am at the moment. just to name a few examples.

I would set up another date a little bit into the future.. say a week. Not right away. That gives the emotions involved enough time to run their course.
