Went to dinner with a few friends from work tonight. One of the Chinese teachers brought their little brother along. He's 17 and doesn't speak much English. I was the first foreigner he's ever met in person. He actually asked to take a pic with me at the end of the night. When I saw the pic I thought "Oh, sweet Jesus fuck, I'm old!!!". It's funny, whenever we go out as a group we have a ton of fun, but since the one girl brought her brother, I had to be a slightly looser version of my "work self". Had to remind myself not to offer him a smoke and drink after we ate. Kids today are pussies.

 

How did you do that???? I NEED to know!!! Please!

I had a very very real "dream" just a couple of nights ago - but not a "seeing" dream...I was talking on the phone to my special lunch friend and he said "You know I'm falling in love with you, don't you." I woke up immediately holding my phone hand to my head. I really had to wake my head up...it was so clear, his voice and everything for a few minutes I thought I was awake and had heard that. I was looking (more like feeling in the bed) for the phone. I was truly shocked...but I wanted to tell him the same.

I'm not sure if that makes me want to laugh or cry. Lord have mercy.

a doe abandoned in my field...cant yet walk...no idea where mom is?.....I wont take a picture..its a bit sad....I made a call but I dont think there is anyone available to take it and nurse it

 

That is a fawn and the mom doe will probably come around to it eventually.

 

I saw a fawn today too.

Mom was out and about somewhere but will be back. They often leave the babies in what they think is a safe place.

 

yes fawn.....neighbor was pulling old posts and near stepped on it....like 18ish inches long...how can I describe it...like maybe enough for some gloves......hard to just walk away but we did....my instinct is to stick a bottle of formula in its mouth...
