I'm watching Sturgill Simpson's The Sound and the Fury visual album on netflix.
As an anime it's really cool. I'm not sure how I feel about it as a stand alone album, musically it's definitely different from his previous albums.
But as a conceptual album..it's a cool concept, making it a visual album. The artwork is pretty awesome

I tried to get this DAMN computer to show me the last page but that endlessly twirling circle and a blank dark purple page kept on and on. My patience and time are limited. I feel like a f'n zombie, I am so tired. I WAKE UP TIRED...and there is so so so much to do so that The Mother can come home.

@rollingalong...when you first posted your sister broke her TOE and needed surgery I admit I laughed...(I've broken so many toes, I've lost count...you just tape them to the unbroken one beside it...if you break 2 - then you tape those 2 to the ones beside them). lol BUT then I saw she broke her tibia, which is no small feat. GAD!!! That must hurt like a mofo.

I do NOT think I would ever have an interest in swimming in a salt water pool, and I have less than NO interest in swimming at the ocean. I have liked going, picking shells, and all that good jazz. For swimming, I want a pool that is fresh water and you can see the bottom of it. Salt water ALWAYS made me feel dirty not just in the water, but the second I was out of it. I realize most people don't feel that way, but it is what it is. Personally I think you lucked out on that.

Now on to cleaning up a house that hasn't really been cleaned CLEANED since at the least 1970. When (not if) Mama comes home, I'll have to stay after her like a 1 yr old child because she IS PigPen (from Charlie Brown) incarnate. Jesus help me.

I wouldn't say this out in public form as she wanted me to just tell you pm...but suffice it to say, she HATES what she said to you, and said she would have just back and erased it, but after it was posted she didn't. She really likes you...but more in the pm.

critique time..

I just said the previous page about carnival rides. Weird huh..
Night time in the helicopter tho Ive not one single hour doing so. Ive been trained for it. There some things like glare, lighting outside reflecting in the window bubble.
We can assume the fair below has much random, "moving" lighting ..

The bubble of course picks up all that lighting, interior lighting from instruments is also bouncing off the windows. Causes distortion, glare, streaks. This of also causes problems seeing the ground, and sometime the instruments inside..

This is especially troubling during sunset. As the eyes dont correct themselves right away, the instruments brightness, the strobe lamps. The outside ground lighting intensifies quicker than the eyes have adjusted. Thus making it harder to see in that short period of time. /there are more accidents in this time frame than any other as well.

Maybe struck a wire, settling with power in and out of ground effect. Small confined area. Fatigue and tired from the day.. All speculative. We often forget to check causes as the final report does not come out right away. And we/lots pilots just forget unless its brought up.

 

Joel Osteen. I haven't seen that guy on a video since 2005 or something. Which isn't that long ago, but you know what I mean.

 

Guy plays really well... I only listened to the first half of this video though. There's no body to his tone, it's sterile and too bright. It doesn't sound like Gilmore even if the technique was spot on.

Could be the way he chose to record it, could be studio issues and he couldn't even tell, Could just be he likes it better that way... But if he's going after Gilmore's tone, he missed. IMHO

I had a friend at work , Kyle that got into Joel Osteen, watched him, bought his book......everything Joel Osteen.....

Kyle came to me one day at work and said "Pete, this place is destroying my soul, I have to leave"

Kyle had 20 years in and quit without putting in his two week notice.

Misty followed him on Facebook and messaged him periodically. Kyle got off of drugs, drinking, got into great shape (pics), started his own landscaping business, bought a home, was in a great relationship with a gorgeous girl. Kyle was grateful for Joel Osteen. I am as well for Kyle.
