and early this afternoon when I went to feed my feral cats, the sweetest, tame one was missing. There was a teenager there the other day, that I had a BAD FEELING about...like real bad. He kept following me around and walking back and forth and said he was told he could "have" the Siamese (by the old next door neighbor man that probably just said I don't care)....the hairs on the back of my neck kinda stood up.

I told him...these cats are smart...they don't know you. I doubt you'll be able to catch him. He had this pretty little carrier with a water thingie in the side. I guess psycho was planning on putting that baby in there. (that cat won't even get near me!)

Anyway, I went about feeding them and this precious, sweet (already ear tipped) Russian Blue came up and was eating. Before I knew what I was doing I petted it, and that damn boy saw me. I already thought about it yesterday and could just kick my own ass. Now today, that precious cat wasn't even there, for the first time since I started this. He was ALWAYS the first one to the food...every single time. The first one. damn I could kick my ass.

 

Alright, just did all my personal growth reviews at work, everyone getting a bonus. some more than others but that's the way it goes. I feel accomplished that I managed to squeeze everybody in. Now I have to host a meeting and say nobody tell anybody what you got, but we all got something so if you want more next year, work harder. Then I need to set up meeting and have 1on1 discussions with people and review them.

I of course have given myself the biggest bonus. Just kidding. I don't get to pay my own bonus hehe.

 

The first thing everybody is going to do is tell eachother what they got... You know this, right?

 

I do.

But if they do it and they get upset then that's their fault.

I just wrecked out of my truck race. Big crash. Qualified 6th somehow running 6th, 3rd lap in I hit the brakes at the back end of track and the back end came around and hard into the fence, into the air, almost landed on someone else. most embarrassing shit I've ever done on iRacing.

 

If my truck doesn't blow its engine from the damage I can still make top 15 here as we've had some more race casualties. Let's go team #24 time to round up those points in 29secs when my truck is repaired. I'm like near 20 laps down now.

 

is it true they use pig anus as fake calamari?....ive never tasted calamari….never will

I ended up finishing 13th. Few incidents from other helped me.

thats the big 3 for me,

canterbury bulldogs
chase elliott

all win on the same weekend. this almost never happens. I think it happened maybe 2x before with jeff gordon. but either the bulldogs have to win a game in august, or make the finals (which they wont this year) and then they have to play finals in september when the NFL starts for the broncos to win and the Jeff Gordon/Chase elliott has to be the best driver (arguably the hardest of the big 3 to accomplish)

so this is extremely rare! and exciting.

 

well this is a hot streak the BIG 3 and then my 100% pool winning ratio.
I guess technically it came to a crashing end when i wrecked my truck in the race this morning, and... technically chase elliott had already won 12 hrs before hand
so nothing was jinxed, it was meant to be

 

i' ding that thing where I clean smaller messes and leave the big mess for later....boarders roo was atrocious ...its half done but I now have to discard a pressboard monster desk and tear out the carpet

 

my dump will not accept pressboard or building material....to lose the carpet for free I must cut it into 2 foot squares

@Lynnbrown maybe that kid just wants a friend because he is lonely and his parents dont give a shit about him?.… just sayin....dont jump straight to devil worship and cat sacrifice

 

lol well first off...I never thought devil worship and cat sacrifice...I think he is BAD as in sociopath, and I HOPE TO GOD I'm wrong, but along with sociopathology, I was thinking cat torture and eventual killing.

2nd - IF he wanted a "friend" and is lonesome, we have a fantastic shelter with cats and everything!!! We also have a very active Humane Society...but you have to pay a little money. As far as I'm concerned if a person can't afford to pay a bit for an animal, they can't afford it anyway...an animal needs to eat and most people take their animals to the vet for shots and if sick,,.,at least down here in the US they do. I know you have said multiple times you don't...and that is you...but around here you would have to find a stray because nobody would accept that you "just don't and aren't going to".

The incidence of rabies is high here....way higher than it is in your colder climate. People around here KNOW they will most likely have to take their animal to the vet at some point, if not pointS...and that is accepted. If psycho boy can afford that cute carrier, complete with the water thingie, he could for damn sure afford to pay for an animal and save its life in a shelter.

Lastly, thinking you are going to "befriend" a wild feral cat is stupid as hell. Even people on the "program" down here would know NOT to go to a damn feral cat colony and think they are going to make a new friend. fgs that is so stupid, I'm flabbergasted you would even come up with something that insane.

 

I'm with you, Lynn. You have to trust your gut.
If he gave you a bad vibe then there's likely a reason for it.
I trusted my gut about someone. I never said anything to anyone about it because you cant go around saying horrible things about someone without proof, but my suspicions were recently confirmed.

Humans are animals, we pick up on energy in the same way other animals do

 

I give people the benefit of the doubt ….empathy before condemnation kinda thing....people think the worst of my own kid when they see her in public

other than ignorance what could be another reason a kid is at feral cat colony?...alone?...….maybe wouldn't hurt to be friendly to the kid and educate him properly about ferals?

 

I see a walt Disney movie in that scenario

 

ok....that is funny beyond belief!!!!

also - I know for a fact it is next to impossible to put costumes on a cat. They simply will NOT stand for it...and cats are fast fast fast. That poor puss, with his/her naked self (since its a hairless) must have been having to go through that since it was a kitten.

@rollingalong, I doubt very seriously if your kid would go to a feral cat colony complete with a cute little carrier and think she was going to get a WILD cat in it. Besides, your kid may have her own issues, but I also HIGHLY doubt that there is an evil vibe about her.

I'm going soon to feed my wild cats...and I'm praying that Russian Blue will be back...I've had a whole scenario where even if he was "gotten"...he has gotten lose.

now I'm going to pull a you. I've already answered "another reason" a kid (around 16 or 17 yrs old) would be at a feral cat colony. From the fairly brief conversation we had, he seemed quite well aware of what a feral colony is about.
