I just practiced some pool. I might head out to garage again in the afternoon for a session. Hitting pretty good I feel.

I still have concerns I am not holding my cue correctly at the butt end and when it does sit where I think it should in my hand, it feels so awkward but I stroke well?

I dunno. At the same time I know everybody does things slightly different. I've seen people who when stroke back, take 2 fingers off the cue and then replace them moving forward, but I seem to actually spin the cue around in my hand when I feather.

Hopefully my new cue shouldn't be too far away from being made either, as I really want to start training with it for next season. I hope it's good. I'm a bit iffy about it tbh the guy kinda started my cue well before I even told him what I wanted. I guess it was just a length of wood but still. I am looking forward to it though.

Wifey is working away in the kitchen on my famous Chinese roast belly pork. I got her to do all the prep work. She's becoming handy in the kitchen.

 

Also, my hair feels weird. The last time I think I washed my hair, I mentioned it in this thread I think and Mel said she'd kinda stopped using product too and that seems like... 4 or 5 months ago so that's how long it's been for me but I thought I gotta wash it this morning lol. So I did. It feels so light now. I tried to weigh it down with essential oils but it's kinda gonna all fluffy again. I don't like it. It'll take two days to feel normal again now and I know it'll get in the way when I play pool tomorrow but I can't tie it up either cause it'll just Puff up the top of my head from the fluffy feeling.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing what the new paint team will do for us for our Darlington throwback iRacing race. We are doing it like real life where we encourage the racers to paint their cars in a throwback design.

I of course, being a Jeff Gordon fan have nominated our team to do Jeff Gordon hehe. But we think that someone else might take the original rainbow scheme. So we are going with an Axalta version with the flames but I think we are going to match the colors to our team colors so Jaz will be hot Purple, Mitz will be hot red and I will be hot orange.

I bought a back brace recently for my upper back, one with velcro, but I'm too small for it the straps are waay too big

Also I've been meaning to tell you, you recommended lithium ororate a while back and I ordered some a couple weeks ago and can already tell a huge difference. I didnt even realize how bad I had gotten until I started to feel normal again. So thanks for the recommendation

That's so weird because I saw one of those today. It's "Budgie the helicopter" isn't it? I remember the cartoons as a kid and wondered if it's still a thing or just an old ride. And there you post the same one.

This is about a 79 yr old woman in Ohio being sentenced to 10 days in jail for FEEDING STRAY CATS.

A 79-year-old woman said her upcoming jail sentence started with her wanting to help out a few stray cats.

Nancy Segula said, “"It began with me feeding the stray kitties."

Segula lives in Ohio, in the Garfield Heights area, where feeding stray animals is against the law. But that didn’t stop her from helping out a few cats when her neighbor abandoned them.

"I used to have a neighbor that had a couple of cats and he moved away and when he moved away he left the cats,” she said.

The felines started showing up on her back porch, seeking food and water.

In 2017, she received her first citation. Overall, she received four citations.

"I would always feed them and take care of them because I was worried about them and I'm a cat lover,” she said. “And then, once my neighbors around here started being unhappy about it, then they called the animal warden."

Her latest citation required her to appear before a judge last week who sentenced her to spend 10 days behind bars at the Cuyahoga County Jail for feeding the cats.

Dave Pawlowski, her son, said, “I couldn't believe my mom was telling me that, for what's she's doing out here, feeding some stray animals, she gets 10 days in the county jail. I couldn't believe it."

Segula’s family was stunned by the order.

Pawlowski said, "I'm sure people hear about the things that happen downtown in that jail. Not a lot of good things at all and they are going to let my 79-year-old mother go there?"

In Garfield Heights, it is illegal to feed stray dogs and cats under ordinance 505.23. However, Segula’s family does not believe the punishment fits the crime.

“I understand my mother has broken a law repeatedly with this, and that is a law in Garfield Heights, but it should have been reviewed individually,” Pawlowski said. “Why would you send a 79-year-old lady to jail for feeding cats?"

Segula is supposed to report to jail Aug. 11.

"So where you want dropped off" I say he says "how close you getting to the convention center". I say" Im going right by it to the dispensary".. can see the nervousness shake off. "Oh wow man you going to the dispensary, can I ask you something" and I thought he was going to ask me to get him something which Id have to say no.. but he say "mind i roll a blunt in your car,, I was going to roll on the bus and blaze before work". I said sure but you cant smoke in my car. No problem he says and how much earlier Id get him to work. bus comes 20after. Id him in town 10after 1. he starts at 2. probably smoked himself stoned with the time he had to spare. ha. If I see him again Id give him another ride. he had some sour D he said. smelled pretty good from what I could gather across from him. Hes a parking attendant.

Here in the city they can fine you for feeding strays they wont actually do it unless a complaint it filed .. usually they trap cats. We can get a trap for 20$ deposit and give the cats to the no kill shelter. They spay/nutter them and put them up for sale.. free money to them if youre a cat harvester..
