I'd be willing to bet he is a genuinely nice guy, knows when to listen and when to shut up, and I bet he looks fine too!

One Sunday on my son's regular visit, and I actually do try to hold it together (at least for that period of time), he saw that I was not only low, but I was next to falling apart. Over the internet he ordered me some lithium orotate. It isn't a large dosage (5 mg I think) but it really does help me.

I realize you may need something else because you aren't going through this ungodly mess I'm going through...but I take 2 in the morning and 1 at night...and within 2 days I could feel an enormous difference. Sometimes I just take one in the morning...but that 2 in the morning and 1 at night really help in the midst of hell.

 

I hate this depression stuff. I know I'm falling down and I know I'm going through it, but I can't help it. There's no cure. I can't just snap out of it even though that's all I want to do. I guess that's what depression really is, so when folks say oh just be happy, it's not that you don't want to, it's just that you can't even when you try, to me that's the disease.

I get slightly better when I smoke some weed, but my tolerance at the moment is too high, I been smoking daily now for years. Probably need a week off, maybe after this weekend. I'll be a mess though lol.

 

@Irminsul there is this lady I've "met" on fb (because of the animal groups I'm in) and she posts a lot about depression. What you just said is EXACTLY what she says.

I know the thing I've hated hearing worse than ANYTHING in the world (and of course I've heard it numbers of times right here at home ) and this is "Just get yourself together". "Snap out of it". That is the most unhelpful, stupid thing a person could possibly come up with.

IF someone could "just get yourself together"...don't these brain trusts think a person would??? gahhh

More and more and more, I can't bear people...just give me some animals...and some animal people - but not even all of them. Some of the WORST SMARTASS people I've come across have been these "animal people"...so I can't even stand all of them. lol

 

Unless your online persona is a ruse and irl you have the personality of a doorknob, I find it really hard to believe you have difficulty finding dates.

Because shops are far away and I don't drive, and some things are easier to find online...
But together with what Mel said.. yes we should all try to use small sellers/businesses online, who sell quality things.
Not the cheap tacky crap like the crappy suitcase that fell apart, that I never should have bought anyway.

 

Lol. Our Race league now just signed up a conflict resolution person as admin. They'll be in charge of complaints from drivers about incidents, at least for the cup series. Takes so time off our hands at least. Although we are league owners and admin/race control and the broadcasting side, we are really just racers too and 9.5/10 complaints are racing incidents, as we like to keep it as real and fair as possible, we don't penalise drivers for making contact.

Now, in a European racing catagory, 9/10, contact results in penalty for someone involved. There's a and B pillars to worry about and blah blah. As 99% of our field is European, you can imagine how many whinging people we get every race "such and such hit me" and our answer is always "it's stock car racing, get over it" but it a much more diplomatic way lol.

So this is kind of exciting. We are in a little bit of a lul atm though, midyear etc. Other leagues start up, new series start up and our fan base kind of splits a bit. We are one of the first leagues to get going every year so we have a big audience early. I think after the super late model series is over in a month and we go back to the nascar truck series the fans will be back.

People like the trucks and the big tracks they see on TV plus the truck is technically the easiest nascar catagory thing to drive. But for me, I love the short tracks. Half mile stuff. Where all the beating and banging goes on, where sometimes you're going exactly the same speed as the car in front and you can't pass them, so you gotta play game and get into em a bit. Real racing.

Im quitting my job today. yep new job dont want it. I cant work with public officials that dont care about the public. Im about to get paid from this city big time either way. Ive a collection of 911 calls. where these maggot dispatchers says fireworks are legal, fucking cuckold DA says the same thing. Ok mothefuckers. Ill project all these calls on the walls of the county building with a box of fireworks. I shall sit on the county building sidewalks and light off box after box of phantom fireworks. Should I get arrested. Prepare for the biggest lawsuit this city seen.. Shall we play a game.
