took this in Cobourg near my sisters house

 

Got a weird, sore bump in my armpit. Likely a swollen lymph node apparently. I'm at a higher risk for lymphoma because of the RA (bit still a very low risk), so my doctor is sending me for an ultrasound to check it out.

Not really worried, but still kind of worries haha.

 

Hope it's nothing.

I usually end my worries and troubles with haha as well.

I did the dumb thing of googling lymphoma symptoms while in the waiting room at the doctor's office. Luckily I actually didn't have most of them and it made me feel better, but in general that is a terrible idea.

 

It is.

There is a diabetes poster in my doctor's waiting room, and I always stare at it and feel like I might have it.

When's your ultrasound?

 

Not sure, the lab will likely call today with an appointment. Hopefully next week sometime.

Edit: Tuesday morning, so not too long to wait.

My wife had a patient last week who was like 600lbs and over the weight limit even for their bariatric wheelchairs. Had to find an extra strong one for him. I think if you're that big, there must be a medical reason, because I don't think I could possibly eat enough to ever put on that much weight.

 

pasta and soda pop.. sure can.

 

I usually think the opposite when I see an unbelievable big person: how in earth can that be solely because of meds. I'm not sure though. I only know that most big people i know off who became like that due to side effects of certain meds were not that enormously obese.
