inspired by hippy i am to create this thread, so i have ceramic second period at school so i'm still pretty high from the morning and so here are some of them: the subject was "organic", so i created the above, and the glaze messed up so now it looks kinda like weed color i call it Flower of Life for that reason that was made by doing 4 separate things on the wheel and joining them together, the wheel is so fun high
throwing wheels are fun as hell, and rather meditative. i dont think you could have made the first one on a wheel, though, could you? probably has to be pieced together. looks more like a hop or a pinecone to me than a bud, but its pretty sweet. the second one i dont like as much, but the first one i really like
i loved ceramics class, i had it first period so id wake and bake and go there and come up with some crazy shit
my fingers were never strong enough to do big pieces on the wheel, but I can throw off the hump if i stick to miniatures. I like your work, i would like to see an above view picture for Flower of Life. if you can, it just looks so cool.
The first one immediately made me think of a flower, so the title for it is perfect. I like the second one two, I picture it next to two of the same of different sizes, like a family
that one i did on the wheel is maybe 65% me, the teacher had to keep helping me since i am sort of ambidextrous so i always do something wrong and knock it out of center, and i didn't like the shape much but i was just trying to make it tall, so i could beat the previous record, i think my piece is 14 inches tall
