Stick shift or automatic?

Which do you prefer to drive? I like stick shifts, I think it's more fun to be in control. It seems like a lot of people like automatic transmissions though.

 

All of my cars until my last one have been stick. It has always been my preference. I can understand why most people would prefer automatic though - especially in stop and go traffic. As far as pure control over the vehicle, stick is definitely the way to go though.

 

It doesnt really matter to me one way or the other but, like dhs said, in stop and go traffic, like los angeles or something like that, I really do prefer an automatic.

 

I like stick shift cause you can express your point better after some old man pulls in front of you and drives 11 freaking miles an hour :$

Automatic, stick just takes my mind off enjoying the road and such... Automatic is easier, I do not need to tense myself with stick...

 

I prefer stick shift. When I'm driving with an automatic, it doesn't feel like driving at all.

 

I prefer stick. I drive harder.

But, when I'm feeling super lazy, I go automatic.

stick is better in the snow, ice, or rain...

 

I've only driven stick once, nearly killed the car. Automatic for me!
