Well my step cousin owes me $600 and it's been about 5 months now since I lent it to him, he said he would have it in 2 weeks when I first gave him the money. A month after I lent him the money he told me that he will pay my when ever he wants. Well today he said that he will give me $300 in a couple of days and he also said that I will probably not see the other half in awhile and told me to stop asking for the money. When he comes over to drop off the money I will probably not see him awhile after that, so right now I'm thinking about calling it even by beating the shit out of him then I'm gonna smash all his car windows and slash all his tires, or should I just unload my paintball gun on him then kick his ass? What should I do? Am I going to far?

not just family... if you loan money don't expect to be paid back. you'll never be disappointed. or you could have your cousin sign a prommisary note. you can find them on the web, download and print it. all it requires is your cousin to sign it for it to be binding. place terms on the loan for repayment, missed payments, etc. i had a 'friend' sign one of these when it was obvious he wasn't intending to pay me what he owed. he went ballistic when i showed it to him but he did sign. good luck.

I'm surprised you even tolerated the whole "I'll pay you back whenever I feel like it'' attitude from him, now he probably thinks he's in the clear to just dick you around about the $$$ for however long he wants. I'd personally have to serve a few ass woopins for that. Be aware next time you lend out $$$ to have them sign a few things.
Never expect to be repaid when you loan someone money. Personally I probably wouldn't do anything violent. I'd take back what I could and cut contact with this guy.
