make food grade oil with olive oil. Grind up the stems and put them in some high fat percentage oil (18g of fat per tbsp is the stuff I use) and then let it sit for a while for a cold extraction or put the mixture in a saucepan and simmer it for 30-45mins on low heat, stirring often.
It is, no matter what people tell you thc isn't water soluble (and before someone tells me I'm wrong, it is water soluble at such a low percentage its considered insoluble) You can't make tea unless you've made milk or butter with it and throw that into the tea. Placebo effect is what gives people the notion that they get high.
I've heard you can use stems if you bake or cook them properly. I don't know though, nobody here will probably give any good advice on this. My best guess is go to google.
Every part of the plant except the seeds have THC, but the percentage is so low, that you would have to get stems from very strong weed and have a very low tollerance. Then you MIGHT catch a slight buzz, if you can get passed the harsh smoke and the amount of stems you would need to smoke. Better to do the extract thing with alcohol or fat.
No doubt about that! This reminds me of the recent thread where the girl and her boyfriend drank instant hand sanitizer to get the effect of the alcohol. Sometimes, it's just not worth getting high. (Did I say that?)
There's really no point to doing anything with the stems. I saved up a whole mess of them, IIRC at least a couple of grams, ground them up, threw them in with a few tablespoons of butter, simmered, baked some brownies, and got nothing noticable out of them. But I do make good brownies, so it wasn't a total loss.
if you have a grinder w/ kief catcher you can grind them up and i have heard you can get quite a bit of kief w/ enough stems.
Yes, but it does nothing. You can gut a cigarette into a grinder and produce kief of the same potency, perhaps moreso.
dont waste your time on stems the amount of time you put into doing any extraction or brewing isn't worth it in payback.
