I have a job right now where I work at night third shift. Doing resets in the grocery stores. I haven't stayed up all night in a while. A couple years since I've done it. I'll be doing it for the next 3 weeks and then I switch back to days. When is the last time you stayed up all night? And why?
Three Years Ago When I Moved Here And Realised All My Hassles With My "Asshole Brother" Were Now Behind Me.......I Sat On My Back Veranda All Night Listening To The Gentle Sound Of Rain......And Sipping On Wine......Tit Was One Of The Nicest Nights Ever...... Cheers Glen.
when i traveled last november i stayed up a couple nights, mostly due to time zone changes and the fact that it's basically impossible to sleep on an airplane.
I usually stay up late to get my work done after sundown. I once had a 12 hour graveyard shift job. I thought it was good at the time, but looking back on it, I don't miss those days at all.
Every week day... i work 3rd i try to sleep nights on weekends but its rough sometimes...10 years for the most part.
it is a regular occurrence with me....for various reasons.....years and years ago as a stage hand we often would work all day putting in a show....do spotlight during the show then take the show down after.....back then the cocaine was everywhere so staying up was pretty easy
When I was landscaping my yard (front and back), I worked sun up-to sunset-to sun back up numerous times. From going to buy materials, loading and unloading materials, moving/removing yard waste, marking, digging, raking, edging, etc. shit wasn't hard, it was just long and tedious.
I had a 24hr blood pressure monitor about 6 months.....THAT motherfucker kept me up most of the night.
When I was on prednisone last year. It gave me insomnia really badly .I stopped taking it after 3 sleepless nights . When I was in my late teens/early twenties it was a nightly occurance. I would stay up all night hanging out or partying with my friends, catch a few hours of sleep, and do it all over again Now I like my sleep too much for that
The last time I took a vacation I stayed up the night before getting everything ready, because I don't manage my time well.
Back when I was in my teens I'd watch the USA channel show "Up All Night"Late at night the hostess with the mostess (Rhonda Shear) would show 2 or 3 movies. Sometimes everything was up all night with all her sexual innuendo.
one hour is exactly the same length as another, whatever the numbers say on a clock. and you bio-clock can adjust to making any part of the day/night its main day and alt-day. the only difficulty is conflict with the availability of public transportation. or i suppose, the main day/alt day of other people you have to live with. they either have to understand yours is what it is due to the hours you work, or you need to not live with or around people who refuse to.
I stay awake every night for no other reason, besides my Asperger's fucking up my sleeping rhythm, because fuck you Marion, that's why. I've had full days when I don't sleep at all, the longest period maxed out the clock at 46 hours, when I had to attend a funeral. And then I drove home at the end of it. Unassisted, no drugs, no uppers. Nothing. And then I was a zombie for days. Sounds hardcore, but it's actually not a whole lot of fun. I usually sleep from 10 AM to somewhere between 4-6 PM, because it's the only way I'm able to maintain a somewhat steady rhythm, where I'm able to get sleep daily. If something disturbs this, it takes anywhere between 2-4 weeks to get it fully corrected. Literally.
Actually, I've stayed up all night this night. The Sun should be coming up soon. You ask the reason why the reader had had the all-nighter they chose to bring up. My reason was because my boyfriend spent the night and because I stayed up typing. I sometimes purposely pull an all nighter. You mentioned working third shift in your past. I'm not sure when that is. I know I've worked shifts that began at 4am and at 10pm.
I don't really remember. Probably within the last year, but I wouldn't want to make a habit of it. I can't imagine working 3rd shift, I think it is likely bad for your health, too.
