Woo! Finally after a few months of saying I will, I am! My friend is coming over next weekend hopefully to section my hair and back comb!
And tips on how to make this a better experience than last time?

For those who don't remember I had TERRIBLE dandruff problem and the itchies really bad. I used only Dr. Bronners peppermint soap which I know now was a dumb mistake. I plan on using T-gel this time. And hopefully my sections will be more... appealing lol.

If you neglect, your scalp will be gradually worked into locks, with no sudden transition, and thus, none of your previous problems.

Plan on? If you start using whatever washing method before you dread you might be better off not going through a transition AND that beginning weird separation itchiness..
Plus, it would probably make the whole backcoming process easier?
.. or, better, what Roo said.

agree with naed. If your dandruff is that terrible, you should start getting your scalp used to fewer showers a week before sectioning.
I will also recommend the acv-rince, and the bakingsoda-wash. Also use icy cold water (as cold as you can manage) on your head the last 3 mins in the shower. (helps the pores close up)
