For my 1000th post, I felt like posting something kinda pointless First lemme say this isn't an anti-globalization thread or anything, I like industry, and if your reading this off a monitor, so do you. But damn I hate starbucks. The coffee isn't very good, the secret is shoving it full of cream and sugar to make ignore the fact that the taste is medicore, you have to wait in line for 10 mintues to get it, the atmosphere sucks, and its like $9 a freaking cup. You ever meet someone who works at starbucks? when you go to get coffee anywher else the people who give you coffee are at least mildly helpful... but at starbucks they act like they gotta have a sassy additude. Grow up, your 38 and you serve overpriced coffee for a living, your not better then anyone. Ya can't avoid starbucks either... would someone tell me why an airport needs 3?!!! *sigh*
I thought about working there because they have benefits for part timers.... I always put lots of cream and sugar in my coffee, anyway... but I usually get chai. I have noticed that the folks that work there kind of suck sometimes, but I'm sure that that's not an incredibly exciting job and they're probably just wishing they were somewhere else and they're beyond the point of caring what people think about them....
Actually I've only been like 5 or 6 times, and I dont drink coffee anymore, and I've never gotten an attitude from anyone who works at starbucks... I guess I just wanted some attention.
haha.... the truth comes out... Are you sure you're not a sheltered Catholic schoolgirl? I'm a moron.
im not a big coffee fan, i prefer greek coffee over regular. i cant stand starbucks coffee, its all about tim FUCKIN hortons!
Although I really don't like going to starbucks, I have to admit I do like their coffee.. And they do have awesome chai..
i like the coffee. at my local starbucks, mostly teenagers work there, n u dont ever have to wait in line. plus its more like $3 a cup. which is still outrageous.
I like Starbucks' coffee. I am not much of a coffee drinker, but I like getting a latte or carmel macchiato every now and then.
