Just curious as to whether anyone else out there likes to read any of the Star Wars expanded universe novels? Im currently addicted as i started reading them again earlier in the year.
Oh yeah! I've read many of the novels, but I'm sorely behind. I just don't have the time to keep up with the novels. My personal favourites: The Courtship of Princess Leia and the first series (the one with Admiral Thrawn). Of course, they are all good - they're Star Wars!
Ive not read Courtship yet, I read The Heir To The Empire trilogy you mean back when i was a kid and the two trilogys after that and a couple of solo books Splinter In The Minds Eye and Shadows Of The Empire. But recently started reading the prequel books and have read from the books just before Phantom Menace right through and am currently in the clone wars lol. Star Wars is just one of those things I cant get bored of
I've heard that some people like the Star Wars "Legends" novels more than the new Disney canon. I like the new canon for the most part, but do you think I should give the old Expanded Universe a try as well?
