While watching the trailer you may recognize Jeri Ryan (Seven of nine) from Star Trek: Voyager .

 

Ryan is probably just a cameo, as is Data. Riker is also in one ep, Frakes has actually been directing episodes of Discovery

Ryan, Spiner and Frakes are all credited with just 1 ep on IMDB

 

Jonathan Frakes has become quite the director after Star Trek:TNG from directing episodes of Roswell to Burn Notice to Falling Skies.
I don’t know why but it always seems strange seeing his name appear in the directing credits.

 

Oh, I never knew he did falling skies, never checked the credits, and I loved that show

 

What hooked me onto Falling Skies was the fact that my own hometown here in Massachusetts was mentioned twice by name as a storehouse and a repository for food.

 

Picard should have banged doctor crusher when he had the chance.

 

It happens. The guy who played Ernest T. Bass on Andy Griffith directed more episodes than he starred in.

Ernest T freaking RULED!!!!

 

Oooh, yeah

Well, the first episode at least gave me a big fanboy woody. Seeing Picard and Data on screen together again, Picard and fat Data, even though it was in dream sequences

Decent amount of action, a little bit star trek, a little bit the Matrix, a little hint of the Borg at the end

Just saw it on F Movies’

Not bad for the first episode, and yeah Data has definitely put on a few pounds.

Got to see what Boston will look like in the 24th century, and the Romulan reclamation center made out of a damaged Borg cube holds open the intriguing possibility of their return.

 

Have the feeling, 2nd episode it's all going to switch around and we get to see what the series really is, something along the lines of the A team in space, Patrick Stewart, the guy that was the painter in Heroes, and apart from that a bunch of nobodies, with a TNG cameo thrown into every episode

Which I'm ok with, especially if it has a little bit to do with the Borg and /or the struggle for Android rights, then fuck yeah!

The only downer was that Picard looked so old,

 

The bit where he is running up the stairs with dhaj and they cut to a different shot every two seconds. Lolz

You know it was like, ok, run for 2 metres, ok cut, 10 minute break everyone, repeat that 10 times

 

Thanks for the reminder guys, keep forgetting this one was also coming up! But... not sure where i can watch it for free Ah well, I'll put a guy on it
