Who are your favorite comedians? Mine: Greg Proops Bill Cosby Steve Martin (well, he used to be one. My parents have tapes of some of the stuff he did in the 70s. It's awsome) Robin Williams
Chris Rock, Ron White, Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Denise Leary, Cedric the Entertainer, Dave Chapelle....I like many comedians.
Cedric The Entertainer, Dave Chapelle, George Carlin, D.L. Hughley, Bill Cosby, Margaret Cho, Ellen DeGeneres, Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey, Bruce Bruce, Sinbad, Eddie Izzard, and John Leguizamo. I almost forgot Robin Williams.
Bill Mahr is my favorite ....I love his diaglog! Robin Williams Chris Rock George Carlin Dave Chappelle Ellen Degenerous I like too.....can't think of any more right now
I like Ellen, too. I forgot about her. And Roseanne. And Steve Lynch. I hate to say it, though, but I'm not a huge George Carlin person. I think he's one of those guys you either like or you don't. He rubs me the wrong way. I respect him, though.
Jerry Seinfeld Jon Stewart Jeff Foxworthy George Carlin (I Like His Curse bit) Robin Williams(The Golf Bit Rocks)
Comedy is one of the most important things in my life. if there is no laughter in the world, well, there's not much left to go on. Jasper Carrott - Always my favorite. Dave Gorman - Oh, how his random adventures make me giggle. Robbin Williams Peter Kay Bill Bailey Billy Conolly Ellen DeGeneres Chris Rock Dawn French Lenny Henry
I recently saw a Bobcat Goldthwait special from about ten years ago (or so I could surmise by the subject matter), and it was great. I'd never seen his stand-up, and I was happily surprised.
To put it in the terms MY Favorite would use: It actually "Stand-Up Entertainment"! Mine is George Carlin. Forever!
Whoopi Goldberg is now rising in my respect. I never used to like her, but I saw her last night on HBO and was really suprised. Not only was she very funny, but at some points, she was actually profound. I was really, really impressed. I'm a total convert now.
