While the pictures are beautiful, what they doesn't show are all the downed powerlines and tree branches which snapped due to the heavy wet snow

Wow. I have a soft spot for snow landscapes like those... being born in CT and living in Orlando now...

 

I used to live in a small mountain town in eastern Oregon. It has snowed twice on the 4th of July, within the living memory of the elderly there.
