During my last trip I began to notice spirals. Everywhere. Spirals in thought, spirals in the world they seem to be everywhere. I am even beginning to notice spirals in philosiphy. Both the style it is written as well as the philisophical views themselves. Any thoughts or views on the subject of spirals or your views on my views are welcome and appreciated.
Spirals make up atoms, atoms make up space, everything is really just spirals... I had a theory that any spiral, upward or downward, can be altered in the smallest way, and begin motion in the opposite direction... or something like that...
actually just looking at it the background of this page is spirals :-/ i'm starting to think about spirals in thought as the cause of deja vu... Beckner420... Do the spirals really have a direction? If so which? How do we know? In? Out? Up? Down? Dunno... Just thinking about the possbilities.
Well i don't think that it is just spirals, but also complex geometric patterns. For me anyways. Depending on how hard i'm trippin. But i like that you brought up the spiraling thought pattern thing because i've noticed that too, only with patterns. Spirals too. Especially fractals and layering/lagging behind of certain quadrents of area, of objects and thoughts.
something special about spirals and acid...i cant put my finger on it really but i know what your talking...
theres somthing about spirials and the whole of creation.....i got into sacred geometry for a bit, its an interesting science. the phi ratio (or the golden ratio) spirals infinatly inwards as well as outwards. teh closest nature has come to this ratio is known as the fibbanacci sequence. (3d can imagine a spiral infinatly expanding...no end, but infinite inward...no beggining is not possible in this realm) the nautilus shell is a good example of the fibbanacci sequence, but really its found everywhere. everything in creation follows a few basic rules and patterns. i often trip out on the geometries of the psychedelic realm....entertaining the idea that they are some kind of blueprint, or that there is some kind of universal message in these patterns/equations.
when i trip if im in the dark i really start to notice the primary colours (and lots others) all spiraling and inter twineing together... making up like, the atoms and cells of everything, kinda looks like the background of this pages, but notred, and yeah life is a huge sprial consisting and relying on the smaller ones to hold it together
i read a book about spirals lst year and found out theyre pretty much everything. Spirals are infused into almost everything (if not everything) found in nature in some way or another. The movie "Pi" deals with some of that to, its really good. But yea, it would make sense you start to notice spirals everywhere
