just saw it yesterday, It was unbelivable. The best superhero movie I've ever seen. Alfred Molina was great as Doc Ock.
i thought it rocked, met my expectations and so much more... the best part though, was the asian woman doing the the spiderman song....lol
I really liked it. I wish they would have Venom, Carnage, Hobgoblin, or Mysterio as the villan in the next movie! But it looks like it's going to be Harry as the Green Goblin.
I liked it a lot. I thought that it was good and very entertaining. I think I liked the first one better though. Usually I don't much like action movies, but this one I did. I thought it was pretty funny sometimes too. I have to say that I laughed during the beginning with the pizzas.
I thought it outshone the first by a lot. My only real problem was right at the end. "Go get 'em tiger" just pissed me off.
Yeah, I hated that line too. It was almost as bad as when at the end of Pirates of the Caribbean when the girls said, "No, he's a pirate".... blech.. I hate stupid last lines like that.
Well, it was a reference to the comic books. Her character in the comic books calls Peter tiger a lot, that's her pet name for him. But this movie was excellent. Much much better than the first film, and I'm a huge fan of Alfred Molina.
I just seen it today... a little over dramatized acting i think, but pretty good. lol I loved the pizza scene at the beginning "he just stole that boys pizza!" lol... then the elevator scene made me crack up laughing too... haha
My brother follows the comic books and he says that Venom might be in the third movie. It will be Harry as the goblin too though. He said that at the end of the second movie when spiderman was swinging away he should be going to "the crash site" or whatever where Venom (the symbiote) comes, so ya never know.
The part in the elevator was hilarious. I also liked the part where he jumps off a building, screams "I'M BAAAAAACCCCK!!!!", falls down to the ground, gets up and hobbles away saying, "My back! My back!".
Way better then the first...but I really hate d that, GO GET 'EM TIGER line...maybe it was because I was wasted.
So I was bored, and I've already seen all the good movies in the theatre, and so I watched it again. And I loved it even more this time, probably because I didn't have a headache. The guy from the newspaper is so friggin' hilarious. I think he is the best character. And Alfred Molina did do an awesome job as Doctor Octopus. That actor is so damn versital!
I thought it was hokey and contrived. I really enjoyed the Doctor Octopus effects, but that was, in my opinion, the only part of the movie that was done well. Blue skies, -Jeffrey
At the end of the pizza scene, I found myself saying out loud, to myself, "That was just stooopid." I mean, what expectation could there possibly be that using his spider powers he could deliver those pizzas (EIGHT of them?) in anything close to a satisfactory condition? Also, what was the point of taking that slice back from the guy on the balcony, particularly by shooting it with a web?! Oh, like it was still gonna be edible?! With the same web on it that holds CARS off the ground?! Dumb dumb dumb. That scene totally should have been left "on the cutting room floor." And one last thing. The pizza guy said that if the pizzas were not delivered in 29 minutes, they'd not only be free, but they'd lose the customer forever. Talk about a nonsensical plot contrivance. Why would a customer whose pizza arrived in, say, 38 minutes decide never to buy from them again? Especially after getting those EIGHT PIZZAS for FREE?! Made absolutely no sense at all. And if I were Peter Parker, and that scrunty BITCH said, "I'm not payin' for those," because I was a few minutes late (nevermind their condition) I would have taken them with me and thrown them in the trash! Why should she HAVE them if she's not paying for them?! Blue skies, -Jeffrey
