alright well im just wondering because ive heard weed lowers your sperm count.. well does it? and if so what does it mean if you have a lowered sperm count? are you gonna have uglier kids or somethin?

 

Uglier kids... lmao. Not only does it lower your sperm count (from smoke killing them off from lack of oxygen), but if you smoke prior to having sex, it most likley wont result in pregnency because the smoke makes your sperm swim in circles and dont know what the fuck is going on... I dont know the exact anatomy of it, but thats from what Im told by medical figures

Its exactly what it says it is, less sperm in your jizz (because your Jizz is not just pure sperm, its a mix of different fluids). So its nothing major and is not a health risk unless you are trying to get someone pregnant

Cannabis is NOT birth control, don't try to tell people that.

There have been some studies that have shown that smoking cannabis lowers sperm count, but by a very low margine, and not enough to effect birth, or fertility. In some people weed actually increases sex drive.

So its nothing to worry about, weed will not lower your sperm count significantly, nor will it prevent pregnancy, or how your child turns out (developmentally).

but I guess the most important thing here is that the effects are TEMPORARY.. you may have a slightly low sperm count (meaning less live sperm in your ejaculate) today, but tomorrow or the next day you should be fine and back to normal.

The whole "weed lowers your sperm count and testosterone and will make you and your kids weak and feeble" was all just a scare tactic.

But the women smoking weed during pregnancy may (or may not) cause complications with birth. This connection has not been indefinatly proved yet, so don't trust me 100% on that.

It's true that cannabis use will lower your sperm count. but you produce more sperm every day so unless your middle aged and have overly complicated fertility problems i wouldnt worry about it.

sperm count has nothing to do with your kids... all it takes is one sperm to fertilize the egg, but sometimes, even tho millions of sperm cells are released, none of them actually reach the egg... when your sperm count is lowered, it just lowers the chances of the womens egg getting fertilized
