"special" Brownies!

    ok S Im probably like the 473674278632 person to post this but can someone give me a step by step instructions on making some special brownies? Or any other food/ganja related mix...all help appreciated!

    every time i've done this i've gotten high, so i dont care how other ppl do it, if you say this doesnt work, it's gotten me fuckin paralyzed each time so it's all G

    Take your bud, chop it up or use a buster, bust it up a little less then you would for rolling a joint

    get a frying pan on the stove and get it up to medium heat, then put a peice of butter in, just use common sense, put like a TBSP in at a time, then once it's melted just toss in the budd acordingly and mix

    the bud will then turn brown/black slowly, make sure you keep mixing and mixing so it's not just sitting idle, Typically i've used between a 20 sac and an quarter each time i've made em depending on how many ppl were eating them

    anyways keep mixing the butter/bud mixture until it smells pretty gross and the bud is all dark brown/black

    once u have the butter ready you can either strain out the peices of bud, or what i do because i'm usually scared i will lose some of the high, i keep the bud in and just mix it all into a brownie mix

    your typical instant brownies etc. from the store usually only use milk or water, NOT butter, i've tossed butter in these mixes before and it turned out to me a soupy mess, but still got us fucked, but i would recomend finding a recipe online or at the store that actually USES butter, as long as it says it uses butter toss in as much as u have, dont worry about the amount you have being more then needed

    mix the mix up really well, then just cook accordingly, once it's done [you will know it's done if you have toothpicks, if u stick a tooth pick in the mix, if it comes out clean then it's cooked through]

    take em out, cool and enjoy, personally i hate the taste so i usually eat them with somthing else, but it's not too hard to just raw dog it either

    First let me ask you this: how much do you have to spend nowadays to get enough weed to make pot brownies? Back when you bought it by the ounce it was different, but now...

    Anyway, all I ever did was grind the pot into a powder, either in a blender or by forcing it through a strainer, and blending it in with the mix, whether it's brownies, cookies, cake, turkey stuffing, whatever. With medium grade weed I'd use about a heaping tablespoon of the powder, so vary the amount according to potency.

    actually alot of brownie mixes ask for oil.. and you can easily substitute oil for butter in digitals process.... whenever a recipe asks for like 1/2cup of oil.. i usually used an 1/8th of bud to the recipe... sometimes.. 1cup oil to 1/8 bud.. then just save the rest of the oil for next batch... and i personally remove the leaf matter after im done with it

    ive made brownies many times and never done the whole making the butter bit first with green and adding that, we always used to just chuck a sack in with the instant brownie mix

    the brownies actually cook better with ganj in them, generally theyre floppy and crap but with the green theyre perrrfect ^^

    and yeah my way of making them has aaalways gotten me totally fucked out of my head =D

    I've never heard of that, I'll have to try is sometime. I've never made brownie because I don't like much of a hassle.

    i've only ever tried throwing the shit right into the mix with hash, and it worked well

    but with just bud i would be scared it wouldnt work as well

    you could make black out butter, and follow their guide. This guide was written with the mentality of incredible strength for medical patients. With this recipe you can make special cookies, which they have a recipe for called "coma cookies" - this calls for 10 grams of dank. Depending on where you live that could be quite costly, 10 grams would cost me $120+ but you could use a quarter, for me $100 and make a very decent batch as well. Im sure you could even use less, as long as you keep a good ratio.

    Better Bud Butter has been a terrific hit with website readers and those fortunate enough to have a copy of “The Canny Bus Trip Kit” (soon to be released). It’s hard to improve on Better Bud Butter but we’ve done it.



    Improvement number one comes from using European sweet butter. Regular butter is about 80% butterfat while European butters range from 84-86%. This may seem trivial but remember it is the butterfat that exacts the cannabinoids so a 7-8 % increase in butterfat will result in a more efficient extraction and stronger butter. European style butter comes from a number of manufacturers including Plugra from upstate New York, Strauss Organic, and recently Challenge European Style. Yes, the best still comes from France but it is exorbitantly priced.



    Improvement number two comes from using a Braun high speed coffee grinder to convert all cannabis plant material from whatever source to a fine powder. The use of powder means the butter will taste more like cannabis as some of the chlorophyll and a few terpenes get into the butter. It also means a vastly increased surface area where the butterfat meets the cannabinoids. Using powder or “flour” significantly increases the potency of the final butter.



    Improvement number three comes from using the best starting materials available. In this case Train Wreck, California Orange, and Pooh Bear trim were ground up and supplemented by powdered California Orange flowers. Using bud as opposed to trim will increase the potency of the butter.



    The three improvements noted above resulted in cannabutter that is markedly different from the normal (and quite wonderful) Better Bud Butter. Black Out Bud Butter (BOBB) is approximately 2oo-300% stronger. The name BOBB comes from the fact that this butter is midnight green and will cause blackouts if too much is consumed.



    Ingredients:



    2 ½ pounds (six cups) of European Style high butterfat unsalted butter. I combined 8 oz of Plugra with 1 pound of Strauss Organic and 1 pound of Challenge European Style. Everyone has there own favorites but mine is Strauss. Strauss is smoother and less greasy than the others.



    4 oz powdered Train Wreck Trim

    2 oz powdered Pooh Bear Trim (a cross of Train Wreck and Salmon Creek Big Bud)

    2 oz powdered California Orange trim

    1/3 oz powdered California Orange flowers



    Method:



    The butters were melted in a covered crock pot set on high. The powdered cannabis was gradually stirred in with a wood spoon. The mixture was frequently stirred and cooked covered on high for one hour followed by three hours set on low. Stirring was accomplished every 15 minutes.



    After four hours the hot mixture was squeezed through cheese cloth into a bowl then the product was filtered once more through cheese cloth. All available butter was squeezed out producing approximately 3 ½ cups. Theoretically, the cloth balls remaining could be re-extracted with more butter but the product would not be nearly as strong. Approximately 75-85% of the available cannabinoids are extracted on the first pass.

    Note on Preparation:



    No gloves were used in squeezing the rather hot cloth balls into the collection vessel. If you go barehanded beware of burns. Usually the ball can be twisted and held at the top then you can press the ball with the wood spoon against the side of the collection vessel. Once the ball has cooled sufficiently you can “wring” out the last of the cannabutter. Yes, this is messy but will leave your hands oh so soft.



    Note on Amount of powdered cannabis to use: I use as much as will go into solution with the butter. This varies depending upon the cannabis and source.



    Note on Potency:



    I know this cannabutter is potent simply from the extreme effects produced from handling it. I look forward to using this super potent butter for the next batch of Pecan Sandies.

    There’s a dilemma in making medical cannabis edibles. In general, the stronger they are the worse they taste. Who wants a bitter tasting cookie? Who wants a great tasting cookie that doesn’t work? Compounding the dilemma is the fact that the stronger the cannabutter used in baking, the more the butter acts like oil which dramatically alters the baking properties.



    Nurse Nancy Wife co-cook and I have come up with a modified cookie recipe that seems to solve the dilemma. WARNING: These cookies are not called “Coma” for nothing. They are very strong potent medicine used to treat severe muscle pain and cramping and insomnia related to chronic pain. Do not drive for at least 8 hours after ingestion.



    First, we made Black out Butter from high grade trim. This is nasty tasting stuff but has the needed potency. It is estimated that each cookie made from this recipe has from 0.7 grams to 1.5 grams of cannabis. Second, we didn’t combine our cannabutter with dairy butter as we usually do in our recipes. We used pure cannabutter. Third, we reduced the amount of additional ingredients to further increase the relative amounts of cannabinoids in the cookie and to keep the cookies moist.



    Ingredients:



    2 cups all purpose flour

    1 ½ cups of steel cut oats

    1 ½ cups of light brown sugar

    1 cup of granulated sugar

    1 cup of Black Out Butter derived from approximately 50 grams of ground trim/flowers in 1 lb of Strauss Organic butter (86% butter fat) slow cooked and frequently stirred for 4 hours

    2 eggs

    2 cups chopped pecans

    1 cup organic currants

    1 cup organic dried cranberries

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of baking soda

    2-3 tablespoons of Bourbon vanilla

    1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

    1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon



    Directions:



    Sift together the dry ingredients (except the steel cut oats) and set aside. Cream the cannabutter and sugars then add the vanilla and mix in the eggs. Don’t overwork the butter and sugar or it will break down. Mix (we used an electric mixer) the set aside dry ingredients into the creamed butter. Mix in the oats with a heavy spoon and blend. Fold in the currants, cranberries, and pecans. Chill the batter (we made two portions and froze them). With the batter still cold roll the dough into balls about golf ball size.



    Place the cookie balls on a greased baking pan and bake at 300 degrees for 15-17 minutes.



    Hint: The cookies will flatten out and not rise as usual. They will be chewy and crispy at the same time. Keep the cookies in an airtight container (they should stay fresh a month that way).



    Options: You may use raisins instead of currants. You may also want to add a teaspoon of lemon zest and/or some allspice or ground cloves.



    Recommended beverage: Guatemalan Antigua coffee



    Final note: Eat one whole cookie, sip coffee, and relax. You are now on a pain free vacation.

    ^^^one batch of black out butter will make 3 and a half batches of coma cookies. when it says 2oz of trim and 2oz of trim fo another strain and yet another 2 ounces, they are speaking of trim like leaves, not buds. buds are much much stronger especially if you are using some dank. a 1/2 oz is very sufficient and makes 4 batches or more of coma cookies. one cookie is very strong it goes a long way, but its best to split between people cause how often can you eat so many cookies?

    edit: if you add more bud it would probably compensate for the trim. i know no one (or at least not all of us) just have 6 oz of chronic trim around. you could follow the same recipe without the trim and you will still have a very very good product.

    and on the 2lbs of butter, if you want to you can just decrease the ratios by half. half the butter half the buds you add. or just keep the same amount of bud and use less butter, and youd just have a really concentrated butter.

    that recipe is stupid, i highly doubt the majority if ppl on here are going to have that much clippings, and who is going to use 2lbs of butter to make it? my version is a dumbed down Universal recipe

    lol its just a medical recipe, interesting if you ask me. and fuck the clippings, dont even use them.

    i posted this up because when i was interested in making the brownies i wanted exact detail on my side, and knowing its my first time i didnt want to fuck up or just give whatever a shot, its helpful if you dont know what to do and you get detailed directions. plus i wanted something that would prove most efficient, if i have to pay $150 to get a half ounce of chronic id just want to be sure im getting the most out of my money. this way is very efficient if you want some good butter, or a cookie recipe that is very effective/efficient at the same time. yes your recipe is easy and faster, but once you do this once its a shit load easier than the first attempt, and it seems like it would prove more effective. if you have a good hook up and shits cheap i guess it doesnt matter though, for me 18 and a shitty job conservation is key

    Here you kids go on how to make fucking chronic brownies.

    1)Break up/grind your weed. I use 1/2-3/4 o of of schwag
    2) Put weed into the veg oil u need for the brownies
    3) Let that simmer in there 15-25 mins...u can tell when its done ..oh on bout med low temp.
    4) Filter the weed outta the oil with whatever. I use a gold coffee fiilter
    5) Follow baking instructions on the box

    Eating the brownies with the weed in them taste like shit, there is no point in putting in the weed if u get the thc out in the oil...and then just strain it out.
