tomorrow i have a job interview at TGI Fridays and ermmmm im nervous as fuck seeing as ive never worked before...eeeep!
Nothing to worry about hon. It's perfectly normal to be scared shitless on you 1st job interview. I know I was. Just try your best to seem like a responsible, good person, and the job's practically yours I PROMISE!
wooot...eeeep, still nervous haha. well since youre in the burbs of chicago you can visit me if i get it (which i wont) ya anywhere near glenview?
Here's some pointers... 1. Don't be yourself because that might not be what their looking for. 2. Don't be too keen or you will look desperate. 3. Don't be too relaxed or it might look like your not interested in the position. Nervous yet?
ignore Colenzo's comment hehe. you'll be fine i'm sure. Interviews at places like that are usually quick and easy - they jsut make sure that youre not some illegal alien. I myself tried to get a management position at the local Hooter's but I wasn't accepted - I cried and rolled up in my sock drawer for days. *sniffles*
i thought this thread was gonna be about soy. milk or something. anyways... job interview tip..... now dont make this obvious BUT subtly act like the job interviewer. how they shake hands, lean, their eyes, etc. just real subtle things .... if you make that person think "wow, this person reminds me of me" you got the job
lisa are you wearing a mini skirt? i hope youre not being interviewed by a girl because that crap backfires. i kissed major ass for my interview though. it worked too
nawww...its a decent skirt, but my legs and ass look hot without making me look like a skank..so it all works out.
Once you get an interview the job is usally yours, they aren't that bad. There's nothing to lose and no reason to be scared, its just a restaurant and they usually are in desperate need of people.
