the lord of the rings soundtracks are amazing. So is the soundtrack from a film called ' the piano'....the theme tune for it is by Michael nyman and it has to be one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written!! Its called ' the heart asks pleasure first'. So either lotr, or the piano.

    peace and love

hahaha, probably Saturday Night Fever. God that's embarrassing though. The Natural Born Killers soundtrack is good too. i hardly ever listen to either, but have both.

Except it doesn't have the track 'Dazed and Confused' on it which I always thought was a disgrace, I mean what a glaring ommission!

If you're talking about an original score soundtrack then I have to say "Edward Scissorhands."

For scores, the three Lord of the Rings soundtracks are amazing, I also like Braveheart and the I Am Sam score.

Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet, and I Am Sam with all the Beatles remakes are great soundtracks.

Probably either Tomandandy's score for The Mothman Prophecies (with incidental music by Low & King Black Acid) or Andrew Dickson's score for Mike Leigh's film Naked, composed for harp/contrabass/viola.
