The shit? Yes Metal? No I liked a few songs: Fell on black days, blow up the outside world, outshined, rusty cage. I even liked some of Cornells solo stuff, weird post grunge rock.
I had a bit of a Soundgarden phase not so long ago... Love Cornells vocals, he was like a grunge Paul Rodgers..
What are you guys talking about "not metal"? I think they're a really great metal band. They're my second favorite of that top 4 grunge bands, just behind Pearl Jam.
yeah i think theyre awesome i dont understand the who;e ''not metal'' mentality this happened with another thread i started( ithink it was alice in chains) and i believe it was moved to alternative forum, i cant remember but yeah i gues they are different thatn just like straight up metal i thought this was most appropriate that and the alternative forum doesnt respond to heavier bands
Just thought i'd bump this thread as i've been listening to a lot of Soundgarden recently! Show some love! Mailman and Limo Wreck are two songs in heavy rotation atm!
can't beat chris cornell's vocals in soundgarden. he doesn't even come anywhere close to it in audioslave.
i like soundgarden and rage too and i hate audioslave with a passion(ok im being dramatic) youre definately not the only one that feels that way
Hey, let's keep this thread on Soundgarden! Forget Audioslave etc! Anyone seen the PinkPop '92 performance? Great stuff!
i think you answered your own question. soundgarden is soooo yesterday! kidding. i like soundgarden. not my favorite, but i listen to them. not to veer away from the subject, i too like rage and soundgarden and not audioslave.
where can I find it? ATM moment they are my second favorite seattle-band, AIC is my all time favorite. I have most of the music audioslave came up with so far, but i never listen it. it's not as exciting as RATM or soundgarden
Chris cornell deffenitly had a better voice with his career in soundgarden. When he got into audioslave it just wasnt there.
