Ive had bad luck with relationships, and I want to know from people who have successful relationships, how it happened. Do you believe in soul mates, I love the idea, but what throws me off is how much you can fall in love with a person, and later in life feel the very opposite. How did the successful relationship differ from past ones?

It differs because we are closer emotionally. We tell each other more about our lives, and everything we do is an effort to be together forever. We also have similar personalities, but at the same time, very different. We communicate more.
I believe there are multiple soul mates available for all of us. They are the people that are different than us in just the right ways to allow us to grow but similar to us in the way that they keep us happy. Recently I found someone that I thought could possibly be a soul mate but I don't think they were ready for the deep of a connection and so they moved on. The key is to keep searching and keep an open mind, don't judge and don't expect anything. whatever happens, happens
