i`ve tried to lookup the particulars on the stimulus. but get lost in all the hype. does an individual still need to have acquired $3000, in order to recieve it?

Yes, but remember the stimulus is based on your 2008 taxes not 2007 (even though they based it on your 2007 taxes when they gave you the refund. Confusing I know) That's why there's a Recovery Rebate Credit on the 1040 this year. So you could actually get more money back if you qualify. I only got $300 dollars last year, but made more in 2008 to qualify for the full $600. Now I'm getting an extra $300 dollars back on my return. The IRS is having a lot of trouble with the rebate and it's causing a lot of rejected returns. The IRS is one big messed up hell hole. . . The government is annoying.:ack2:

i did mine, i'm getting my refund on friday. sweet hotness!!!

i'm getting almost everything back plus some. i'm getting something like 600 bucks back, and i barely paid in anything this year, cause i hardly made any money.

 

i decided to hide my new address from my previous employer, so i just got my w2 from them today...

 

I got $3825 last Friday. State is another $135.
My honey is getting back WAY more than me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
