My exboyfriend told me the other day that he still loves me, and I was happy until I talked to his cousin. His cousin's been a close friend of mine for the past 3 years... and when I was talking to him, I mentioned what my ex said, and he told me that I shouldn't believe a word that he says. my exboyfriend's never lied to me about things like that before... but his cousin's lied to me plenty of times. Which makes me wonder if I should believe his cousin. But I suppose he's due to tell me the truth. But I'm lost... and I want to say something to my ex about it, but him and his cousin don't really get along that well so I'm afraid to start a fight between them. If anyone has any suggestions it would be really helpful. thanks
i've been through something close to this, except it was my boyfriend and his best friend, anyways, I think you should believe your ex if he has never lied about something like that
Why would you be friends with someone who has lied to you "plenty of times?" You don't need drama like that.
