Sometimes a God Might Want Quick Interaction?

I could simply be wildly misinterpreting this, but this year I got a pull from an Egyptian deity. I haven't had any new deities calling in ages, so I got Her an offering, made a prayer, tried some meditation and haven't heard anything from Her since.

I've been a pagan for over 2 decades so i don't consider myself a noob. This also isn't the first time I have seen deities make Their presence known and leave shortly after.

Do you think it's possible that deities might come
In for a quick bit of homage and nothing more? Maybe it's kind of like having a casual chat with a stranger at a bus stop that you'll never see again? Who knows? Doesn't bother me or anything. Just a curious interaction and am wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.
