i'm like a metal head, grungie, type thing, everything and i actually like "numb" by linkin park and think it's a great song. is it just me losing my mind or is it actually a good song?
i havent heard that song but i used to like "crawling" and "the end" by LP I dontr eally care about them that much now. but if you like them good on ya!
yeah i actually started liking them again. they were a really important band on taking me towards the rock end, especially "hybrid theory" it's one of the most influential albums on me but yeah they do some good stuff although doing numb again with jay-z was suicide
lol there isnt anything wrong with u, man. Numb is indeed a good song. I think i prefer stuff from hybrid theory tho. Even if nobody else liked them, nothing should stop you from enjoying them yourself anyways. My philosophy with music is that anything goes - music is there to be enjoyed! peace and love xxxxx
why does everyone hate linkin park now? I admit theyre far from my fave band, but i liked them about 3-4 years ago
Here are a few reasons that i hate them... some of their songs sound sort of simliar to me, like "crawling" and "numb", i swear they are just about the same song...or perhaps im just incorperated the lyrics of one song on to the other making me think that...i dont know, i dont listen to much radio or MTV anymore. And this is just a personal thing, but i hate bands that have a singer that screams all the time, but i also am not a big fan of rap, so putting one with the other just sounds pretty bad to me. I cant remember many more of my reasons since i havent actually heard their songs in some time, but thats just my own opinion.
..Well Linkin Park doesn't have a singer that just screams all the time. Seems someone needs to actually listen to them before they knock them. ;p I really enjoy them though. I've seen them live and they put on a great show. A lot of the time that will make or break a band for me. With them it.. gave me chills. Hah. But to each his own, no one should base their opinions of others opinions.
i think you should not give a shit about other peoples taste in music..dont let people dictate to you what you like or not...if you like the song keep liking it until you get sick of hearing it
they're not dictating to you but RECOMMENDING.... im just sayin that just because people pay something out doesn't mean it's uncool of you to remain liking it... thats what being individual is about..liking things because YOU like them.
recommended bands are a great way to find out about new music.....recommend books..movies..everything...because ppl like to form judgements..make their own reviews so to speak
