My friend and I were going to another friend's house (P) and P's mom had given me directions. Well I couldn't find the road she was talking about (to turn on) and we were lost. We ended up at a CVS and called P and told him where we were. He met us there. While we were waiting at CVS, a guy pulls up and gets out, calling for his cat. He said his neighbor took his cat and let it go at CVS because he wasn't home and it was in the neighbor's yard. Anyways, the lady left a little saucer of milk which was on the curb, but the cat was nowhere to be found. The guy was really bummed out about not finding his cat. Meanwhile, my friend and I are in my car, and we say something about smoking (tobacco) and he says "Man, I wish I had something to smoke". I had a dime bag on me, so I offered it to him for $10 and he bought it. I don't think it was smart to sell to a stranger, but the guy seemed like he needed it and he said he didn't have any other sources (he had just moved here to his parents' house). Anyways, after that, we leave and go to my friend's house to get his bowl. We all drive to a nearby park and park in the deserted parking lot (except for one other car). We park behind it, and proceed to smoke a bowl. After we were done, we were driving away and we saw a guy sit up from the back seat of the other car. He was having sex in the car . We dropped P off at his house and headed towards home. We were on a 2 lane road which had no cars on it (it was 10:15 at night). My friend says "Dude, slow down, I have a bad feeling". I was going 48 in a 45mph zone so I was fine. I sped up to 50mph to seem like a normal driver. A few seconds later, a silver Mitsubishi drives up past us like he wants to race. I drove up beside him to see the driver (I didn't want to race). He was going about.. 60 mph so I had to go 60mph as well to see inside. My friend says "Oh shit, that looks like a drug awareness officer that talked to me when I was in trouble". Anyways, I slow down to 50mph again because I didn't want to race the guy. A few seconds later, two cops drive past me (going probably about 60mph or so..they passed me pretty quick). I thought they were going to pull over the Mitsubishi, but they passed it and kept going. They were pretty far ahead of us, and when we stopped at a major intersection, we didn't see them.. But anyways, I think the cops and the Mitsubishi were trying to sting me for racing.. maybe I'm just paranoid or maybe the cops were going somewhere..I don't really know. Anyways I am still pretty freaked out about this whole situation and I had to post it here to see what you all thought of it..
It actually might be possible man. It makes perfect sense if you think about it! How close were you to accelerating and racing the guy!!! But a funny story nonetheless.
And for anyone not from the East Coast. CVS is like a convenience store, but you can also buy groceries and prescription drugs in it. Like a Rite Aid or sumthing like that.
Well my friend was saying "Burn him, kick his ass" and I have an intake on my car which makes it considerably faster.. but I didn't race because I was a little buzzed (two hits from a bowl) and I promised myself I wouldn't do anything stupid while driving while high (even if I'm just a little bit high). I promised myself just go 5mph over when I'm driving..that way I'm not an irresponsible smoker+driver. I think it's OK to smoke and drive as long as your cautious about it and make sure you obey all traffic laws .. and if you're too stoned to drive then you probably shouldn't... But yeah I didn't give into the peer pressure And yeah a CVS is like an Eckerds or Walgreens.
hell yea buddy, they'll pull that shit on you. there's this red car going round now, all decked out with the stickers and spoiler and everything. he'll try to get you to race, and as soon as you take off with speed, he'll throw on the lights and pull your ass over. i've never seen it, but heard a few stories.
man i hope that guy finds his cat, i los my cat and i felt soooo bad, i was lonely enough with my girlfriend leaving me and my best friend dying from an overdose, i loved that cat it would sit in my lap and purr as i watched old movies or listen to the deads, but i made the mistake of letting it roam free in the city here i felt that it should have some freedom like i had, but one day i saw it slip out in the morning and never come back, i looked everywhere for it just wandering around hoping really bad that i would be reunited with my cat, but after 2 weeks all i could find was his broken name tag in the gutter about a block from my house... it makes me cry when i think about the poor thing, i hope he's ok, i fear the worst but i try not to think of it, i think im going to kill myself i got a gun its a big .44 muzzleloader pistol, it would probably make quite a sisable hole in my head, im tired of living like i am i need to escape im scared to go out into the day aain i dont want to go on this way , sorry , sorry for wasting your time i'll get off now i am having trouble typing for tears have filled my eyes, im a sorry excuse for a human being...
umm...lol i lost my cat too it was the best cat i ever had, then about 4 days ago my dog got hit by a car alive tho ;D
Personally, I think it's real dumb to be out driving while your stoned, especially with the pot and paraphanalia in the car. You're just asking for some shit to go down. It's like idiot kids who smoke at school. I say if you can't be responsible and do it in a safe place, you deserve the punishment you get. I mean, this stuff is illegal. I don't agree with the law but you have to respect it (to a degree) if you don't want to get caught. Go to your house and smoke, don't be stupid. It just gives the rest of us responsible smokers a bad name. And the more kids who sell or smoke at school, the more they want to do drug tests and random searches. You're just screwing yourself.
Well Trippin first of all I have a really good hiding place, and I only had two dime bags on me and they were to smoke. I didn't have a pipe on me .. When the whole cop incident thing happened, I didn't have anything on me at all.
Well, that's better. But my rant was more of a general rant, so no worries mate. I still don't think driving around stoned is a great move, not because of accidents, but because of asshole cops. But whatever.
