Someone educate me....

I've heard of lots of legal highs through plants but it's something I've never really understood. Can someone give me a list of these that would be easy to get ahold of, meaning something you can find in local stores that deal with gardens, flowers and such and not anything that costs $100+ on the internet to get ahold of. And then furthermore explain in simplest terms how to use it.

 

I would suggest you carefully research the info that is out there on some Web sites dealing with psychotropic plants, such as www.erowid.com. There is a lot of misinformation in these types of forums anyway. Heck, hippies who have been using drugs for a long time bicker about the misapplication of nicknames.

I have tried a few of the legal highs and I would say my experiences so far have been negative -- I suppose that's why they are legal. On the other hand, I have not tried every legal drug and have not experimented with every method of preparation.

One drug which is very powerful (or so they say) and still legal is Salvia divinorum. There are some good online vendors from what I understand. As for how to smoke it, I wouldn't know.

 

I've seen all the web sites for legal buds and it's all too expensive. I'm willing to learn to grow my own legal stuff if I knew what and how.

 

it would take a lot of time and energy for someone to give you a list of psychoactive plants, their effects, and how to use them...there are just so many. imo, you should read these forums to just become aware of these plants. if something sounds interesting, read about it on erowid or lycaeum. there are many plants that can be grown legally or bought online from reputable suppliers that will give you some effect. note, a majority of the plants that require simple prep, eg tea prep or grinding and eating, will not produce very strong effects like those of illegal drugs. kava for example, not terribly storng, but still worthwhile. some of these plants if used properly can produce significant effects, not all pleasant, some weird, some subtle. look at salvia its legal, easy to order online, its cheap if you don't get an extract, and it does have a strong high. but i you want to smoke single strength leaves, good luck, imo, you need to smoke quite a bit to get effect. and the smoke is thick. and i don't like the side effects either. a lot of plants can be like that...unpleasant side effects accompanied by a mild to moderate high. well, enough rambling, read the forums, then read erowid.

There is a store right next to me selling DXM in pills. Of course, my last trip on DXM was a puke fest, so I will lay off of it for a long, long time.
