.. I tried to save it, poor guy is in the hands of Animal Rescue.., its probable going to die. It was pretty stunned and scared shivering.. SAD.
I should have kept it and nursed it on my own back to life.. its face is all scratched and bloody but it was alert and just chilled and shivered.. It was really asking me for assistance.. hang in there dood..
in like 10th grade me and my friend used to see this black squirrel everyday...we named it joe...then the one day we were walking home and saw a dead black squirrel in the street...it was a sad day
you did agood thing dude, i respect people who save animal's like that and don't just laugh or leave it.
poor little guy, im glad you are the one who found him. he might be ok, you should call animal rescue to check on him.
i told someone today, and they was like you could of got rabies.. I know that gezee Im not 12. but I didnt care, i scooped it up with a shirt and a plastic bag, its just a baby so its not likely to be rabid yet, Im sure the animal people will test it anyways.. but they was like awe the little thing, we'll fix it up . Im sure they was saying that to make me feel better. but I wasnt like "Dear God save him ahhahhhh ".. I just said I found this can you help him.. ?
good on you for helpin him im always tryna save birds that my cats attack... the other day. last week i think there was a dead bird outside my house , and i was like dam cats but when i went closer, i could see her baby chick huddled into her .. it was so sad, cause she was dead, the cats hurt the baby chick too.. i tried to help him... but he died
coons dont show signs of rabies til about 6 months of age,,, they test n of course it will show positive because they all carry it.It is basically like AIDS in humans,,, doesnt mean they will break out with the disease, but its there... cute lil guy he is.. Who knows orison he may not be as bad off as he looked in the pic... tis amazing what creatures can recover from
I saved a chipmunk from my cat last week. Poor thing was stunned. I put him in the woodchips where he stayed for a good 15 minutes, before scurrying off.
I once found a huge gopher or something lying dead (or so I thought) in my porch right on my front door step one night. It was more than half the size of my cat so I figured he didn't kill it, but to add to the mystery the thing was gone the next morning. All the doors were closed so I don't know where the hell it would go or what could have gotten it. I'm beginning to think I imagined the whole thing.
