Some hipforum users just annoy me

In particulary the UK Forums and UK threads, i don't mean to bash afterall there are some "good apples in the UK forum."

but some of the users in that forum have that i'm better then all the other users attitude, at least thats the way it seams.

I don't hate them but it justs annoys me, i tolerate and ignore by not going into the UK section.

How bout you guys???

They probably are better then all the other users.

 

I don't think there better then the other users, the way some of then act its like they think there better when there not.

For example an average guy on a motorcycle, he thinks he's cooler then everyone eles just because he rides a motorcycle.

Acording to him he's better then everyone, but to everyone or to most people he's just some iddiot living an illusion.

Thats who i feel.

 

Right, I get what your saying. I dont think I have ever been in the uk forum before so I cant agree or disagree with you on that. I know the type of people you are talking about though and I find it is best to just ignore them. People like that feed off of your attention whether it be good or bad.

 

I've never been in the UK forum, cause I'm not from the UK, but I meet people like that all the time. Pompous assholes. I heard there's a girl on the forums who's into scientology. What a load of BS. When you said "good apples in the UK forums", is that british phrase, because I've never heard of it. I have an idea what it means, just not where it comes from.

 

They're not just in the UK forum sweetie, there are people on here who think they can police others about their opinions.....they have a "holier than thou" attitude that should not sit well in a public forum.....

They go into certain forums and jump on people who are posting...for talking about what the forums about...and if you get off the original subject they jump on you about that...how many threads are started about one thing and turn into something else??? thats part of the beauty of this whole thing...you never know what something can turn into....

About the only thing you can do is put them on ignore...NEVER thought I would use that, but I did for the first time tonight...to 2 people I've liked...it hurt, but I won't get upset over stupid stuff....to old for that anymore..

 

its a phrase orginaly ment to describe school children the good ones and the bad ones. I'm not to sure of its orgin.

To be honest i liked the old forums better, because for some reason in the new forums they think they rule the world and the forums.

I noticed these things several months ago.

The moderators in the UK forum/threads are moderated by the most popular users, its like it was a popularity contest.

Not a test to find out who could do there job right.

most if not all are moderated by one or two moderators, which makes you wonder why whould it require too people to moderate a simply forum, heck

many forums don't even have one or two moderators let alone two.

In general i licked the orginal forum better i'm starting to get to the point where i can't stand the new forums.

I'm thinking of leaving for good, if you can't stand it or tolerate it anymore you leave, without a fuss.

uk forumers annoy you?! oh man..thats sad...im auk forumer myself , i hope im not annoying...i dont think the modeation of the uk community and the forums within it are based upon a popularity contest...i dont know where you would get that idea from...? the moderators of the personal forums within the uk community moderate those particluar forums becuase they set them up not because they are more popular than anyone else!

The UK community is really strong and beautiful..which is why its been made into the first community on the hipforums...it has alot going for it and is full of wonderful open minded people..im intrigued as to where and how you formed your opinions on it...

I've noticed people like that. but perhaps they feel the need to prove themselves better because they have such a low opinion of themselves deep inside. Besides, making themselves look better and making others angry/upset by doing this can't be making them happy really hmm?
I feel sorry for them.

 

yeh...i understand that there are people like this on the hipforums..of course there are..but why single out the uk forums as the home of these type of people? whats with that?

really? and you're fro hte uk aswell the ukforum is great..thers a real sense of community there and the memebers are wonderful..well the majority anyways...plus we have alot of meet ups and gatherings...you would be very welcome!!

if your referring to all people living in the uk, that'd be racism. but mi guessing your not

i can sorta see where your coming from, i post on the uk forums, but still often feel an outsider, there is such a tight comunity and they don't see it. they make alot of "insider" jokes if you get me....and you feel locked out.

as for the mods, they're not a bad bunch

i think the problem is the uk forums are too closed up
