tried to build a bomb here in northeast kansas....... some teenage kids, actually...... they put gunpowder and fireworks into this pipe, and they tried to weld a cap on..........

uhh duh, fire and gunpowder, not a good combination. anyways, one kid ended up dying instantly, some of the shrapnell pierced his heart........and the other is in ICU

 

That's incredible.

And by incredible I mean rediculous. Wtf goes through ones mind when doing something like that. Aside from shrapnell of course......

i remember when i was 21 and my cousin and i were making black powder bombs...we would detonate them on this big rock in the middle of the hudson river around here...a handle of vodka plus gunpowder equals fun...not that i do that shit anymore...and im not advocating it either...

 

Sounds like those fuckin kids got what they deserved...

 

Similar thing here within the last month except they manufactured some sort of explosive containing aluminum.

One died while the other was on the line w/911...

We always used threaded ends w/a secret thread compound
to avoid sparks.

Always had probs w/fuses though -
too whatever to buy the genuine thing...
