not tryin to spam it, but I have some funky stuff at my deviant art site, which, not sure of the rules here, i'll edit this later if its sokay, and put it up, but the addy can be found in my profile. here is the concrescence of the last 5 years of my life, but whats here today is gone tomorrow, so, its just fun that an image (for me) caught a span of time in a singular moment U of Mandala and another for fun, a self portrait, portrait of innerSelf?: Organanometrical
thanks ya'll for taking a look! : ) Its a bit in the box, I only really use 8.5x11inch pieces of paper, and use the same tootin Pilot liquid ink pens. The duder, color wise, I use.. purple, orange, green, blue, pink (occasionally), a few different reds, and hmm.. maybe black every now and then. When I first started drawing it was always in black and white, so color was a big jump for me. I'll occassionally use the edge of an ID or the edge of a CD to get straight lines or arcs. Hey great images charlotte. I'd love to see them all put on a wall thats huge, like in a warehouse--you have so many! very organic too. You seem to spend a while on them, do they have a meaning, or mirror yourself in some way or parts of the world (for you?) I scan them just in a regular scanner as JPGs. one more self-portrait one, different than the previous? Sorry its large PrAvianSpirit peece n love
<<Hey great images charlotte. I'd love to see them all put on a wall thats huge, like in a warehouse--you have so many! very organic too.>> Thanks. Very nice of you to say. I'd love to see them on a wall, too. Your style seemed very similar to mine, that is what interested me. << You seem to spend a while on them, do they have a meaning, or mirror yourself in some way or parts of the world (for you?)>> Some of them do, some of them seem to come from somewhere else and have a message with them, although it is hard to put into regular words. Sometimes I wonder if this is like God designing the universe ... if so, I have learned something ... if he made a mistake, repeat it a hundred times so it looks like its on purpose. That would explain a lot. I use India ink and pen so there's no erasing or going back -- anything that lands on the paper has to be incorporated into the design somehow. Your self-portrait has a very dragon-ish look to it.
