http://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/drugs_concern/carisoprodol/index.html Soma often prescribed to chronic pain patients (like myself) is now a Scheduled drug, which now means they are testing for it in urine tests. I was told this yesterday while at my pain management appointment after i came up on a drug test without it in my system. She also stated that insurance companys were starting not to cover it, and the dr was cutting people back to just 2 a night before bed, instead of the normal one 350mg tablet every 8 hours. Just a warning to those of us that dabble in prescription drugs or who have the occasional sore back and raid a medicine cabinet. ENJOY!
Wow..finally. I didn't know about that.. thanks for the link. Had a friend die from a cumulative Soma overdose about 4 years ago. And I've injured myself many times under the effect of this stuff! lol
yeah the shit will mosdef sneak up on ya, before i was more into my pain killers, opiates of course, im sure u seen me in the opiate section on here.....i was out of the meds i was on then, not nearly as heavy as im on now, but i took like 7 at once and i was worried there for a bit, it was like being drunk and stoned, but like i was up for days and was fighting falling asleep.....and that was on my way to work... glad u found the post helpful!
They're weird how they can hit you differently some times. Sometimes I can take 3 and feel allright...that same dose can make ya all shaky and can't even walk. My friend was taking 12 to 16 at a time. Convulsing then passing out for hours. He'd do that once or twice a day...did it for just a few months and didn't wake up from his last dose. It gets metabolized into meprobamate, which has a pretty long half life. Yeah, 7 will def screw anyone up! So...did you make it thru work once they wore off?!
