Going through several forums I have found that THC is said to be insoluble in water but when learning the mechanism of bubble bags where ice and ice cold water is used I was totally confused.

    Please solve my confusion.

bubble bags dont use water as a solvent to separate thc from the pant, because as you said it's not water soluble.

they use water as a medium to basically break all the cannabinoids off of the plant matter into the water, and then filter out everything but the cannabinoids. when using ice water the resin glands become more brittle, and with the vigorous mixing of the plant material and ice water the glands are easily snapped off and suspended in the water

    hope this answers your question

i know this thread is like dead but do yall think THC would be soluble in something like propylene glycol (or any other food safe compound that has a lower vaping temp then THC)

i have found for those ecig things they combine nicotine with propylene glycol so i want to do the same to THC to lower the vaping temp, i go to a boarding school so its worth it to me
