Socailism will save the world....

lets talk socailism.. who here is socailist? what do you think socailism is? how did you find out about it? do you know about the world socailist party? and where are you from.. we should come togther and save the world!

 

Socialism is the transfer of wealth from the working class to the government, who decide what will be done with the money and how it will be spent (or allocated).

Socialism is disguised as being an alternative to capitalism, and the harbinger of world peace and eqality. The fact of the matter is that socialism, like capitalism, is a product of the big banks and has been used for hundreds of years to dupe people into thinking that more government control equates to more freedom, when it is a known tool of tyrants like Hitler and Stalin, who used socialism to usher in fascism and have total control over the people.

 

true socailism would abolish all money systems, and would have to come into effect on a world scale to ever be possible. There has never yet been a socailist state, so one cannot really compare to the so called communist states that have existed.

 

That's always peoples' excuse, there has never been a real capitalist/communist/socialist whatever the fuck blah, blah.. If so, then what difference does it make? And besides lack of money does not mean any less curruption, because obviously those in power have nearly complete control over every facet of, well everything, if speaking of a world wide sense. Definitely not something I'd want.

sweden has been close to a socialist state...communism has never been able to prove itself cause Stalin was a power hungry dctator who Lenin dint even want running the country...Communism woulnt have worked in russia at the time cause it wasnt industrialized...Trotsky should have taken over, and spread the revolution to germany where it could have worked...

So many people dont have the slightest clue of what real socialism is... they get the american-wrapped conspiracy-theory mccarthyist-era "communists are after our precious bodily fluids" version.

Stalin had Trotsky murdered because Trotsky was a living representation of what communism was supposed to be, as stalin used communism as a way to gain power.

Whether Socialist or Capitalist, if a dictator is in control of a country, you can expect nothing but lies and the complete misdirection of any economic philosophy it once claimed to have.

He would just love for you to get slightly interested in his theories so that you would buy his videos for 20 $ only to find out hes fucking crazy.


In a true socialist/communist government:
There is no police force, no military (no one to invade your privacy, no one to imprison you) Protection is gained by Neighborhood Watch programs.
The government is not ran by select people or represenatives, it is ran by all the people living in that country. The wealth the 'government' gains, is the same wealth that the people gain. There is no 'Government' in the traditional sense of the word, because there is no 1 person that has more power than another. This "government" controlled country is actually controlled by the people... there are no victimless crimes, there is no invasion of privacy, there is no slavery. No overbearing laws, no war, no racism, no child labor.

 

Though I consider myself a socialist, I do not think socialism will save the world. More is needed for that than a certain form of government. The way of thinking of the entire humanity must be changed. From a "me, me, me" approach to an "us, us, us" approach. This is difficult, I haven't even been able to change myself satisfactively even though I tend to be generous and caring. The bottom line is that socialism may have advantages over democrats or republicans, it's not going to end all the world's misery.

 

pressed_rat is such a nut sometimes. I love that guy though. Anyway, i think Mui said it pretty well. I'm a socialist because i favor equality to opression, be it financial or facist. Im not sure if socialism will save the world or not, but it certainly is a step in the right direction.

socialism i think would be an awsome form of government. the american people would be the government so things can be decided for the ppl by the ppl..also not a complete free trade which will prevent large corporations from taking over the industries. it would end opression and allow equality...it wouldnt be like china or other communist or socialist nations in the past..those werent what they seemed..they were authoritarian forms of goverenment....their would not be one leader in a democratic socialist government...also people would be payed acourding to how much they work...which would make it so much better that now....there wouldnt be oil wars, environmental distruction, loss of civil rights and freedom, sweat shops...it would really help the world...there wouldnt be a few extreme weathly countries and the rest extremely poor like it is today...it would be awsome..peac eand love

Bullshit. Lenin's reign of terror is responsible of the deaths of as many as 9 million people, yet you never hear him compared to Hitler.

And Mui... no, I don't get all my information from "Alex Jones and Prison Planet." Most of my information comes from books I have read, and I consider myself to be well-researched. I think have have some idea of what I am not talking about.

I am not like some people who follow a movement because the members of their favorite poseur band do.

I have found that most people who refer to them as socialists have no idea what socialism is (as is seen by reading some of the posts under this thread), or they have been mislead into thinking it's something good. Socialism, from my experience, seems to attract a lot of bandwagoners who are only in it for the image appeal of being "radical" and "against the system" which, to me, is an all-out lie in itself.... that's because socialism is a lie sold to gullible people.

I am not singling out all self-proclaimed socialists as being this way, it's simply my experience.

Maybe some of you should try educating yourselves before jumping a bandwagon just to impress your radical brethren.
