No, she's talking about fake opium. Most people who are under the impression that they can get opium on the regular are getting fake shit.
yeah, its fake opium..... i forgot i made this thread... sure did take a while for someone to reply... lol
for those of you who dont know what people know in the u.s. as opium is just an insence called laxmi doohp, it costs barely anything and i have seen it sold as opium for years.
its dragons blood incense, a resin from a tree that doesn't grow around here. its dark red and slightly waxy. people call it soapium thinking its real opium mixed with soap and other impurities because it DOES have a somewhat flowery taste. but theres no opium in it at all. laxmi dhoop on the other hand is a stick incense (with no wooden/bamboo stick in the middle, just a stick of pure incense) that smells harsh like it's very heavily perfumed artificially. its dirt cheap and comes in tiny boxes. its an indian incense. i wouldn't recommend it much for anything, but i haven't seen it sold as opium, though it presumably could be. i could see a similar thing as with dragon's blood occurring, and since there is no wooden component to it perhaps it could more easily be passed off as opium, because at least it would be significantly softer and more pliable than dragon's blood, which is almost glassy.
