lets see one night at college... no jail time yet. but i guess i still have a few more days until the week is over, hope im not as unfortunate as you

 

i got arrested on count of less than 35 grams of weed. it's a misdemeanor but i'm gonna be able to get it off...

it's really weird because i was in columbia city limits, which decriminalized weed up to 35gs, and so i wasnt supposed to be arrested (or so i thought)...its going to a municipal court because of the fact it IS decriminalized and the maximum charge should be 250 bucks..

but i still dont know why i was taken to jail. my bail was set at $1000 because i had paraphernalia too...i guess papers and a roller count? some bullshit but that raised the bail from 500 to 1000...

i wasnt read my miranda rights when i was arrested either, so i dont know what the whole deal is. i didnt know i was getting arrested until i got a full shackle put on me

whatever...we'll see how this goes. luckily i shouldnt lose any scholarship or federal aid, either and there is a chance i can keep my parents out of the dark about it :S

it WILL be taken off of my record no matter what though

technically you can make them drop the charges all together if they didn't read you your miranda rights

thats why i said technically because no cop or judge will really listen to that because it is a here-say kinda situation

 

if you weren't read your miranda rights tell your lawyer that. if you don't have a lawyer say that in court. it should work to your advantage. and that's bullshit about the rolling papers, it shouldnt count. I had visine on me and that fucking counted as paraphenilia.
