My mom is moving out around the end of january, about a week after my birthday. I'm not sure if it will be permenant or what. They haven't gotten a divorce yet, so I'm not sure what this means. I think karma is catching up to me for some reason. This is only a bit of a rocky patch I'm going through.

Anyone here have anything good to say about having your parents seperate? Some positive things to think about would be very welcome in my life right now.

Why is karma catching up to you? How is this your fault? My parents aren't seperated so I wouldnt know too much on the subject. Good luck though.

Well my parents are seperated and my biological dad is deceased(sp), and my stepdad is handicapped severly for life.

Be thankful that you still have a semi normal life. Parents seperating isnt the end of the world I promise.

that was weird, my internet just closed for no reason, and then didnt remember doing it.

it will be ok. all obstacles can be overcome. Im sure it is not your fault. divorces happen, people develop differences that can't be resolved, but life continues. just learn from this "rough patch" and try to see well, the forest for the trees I suppose.

my parents got divorced when I was 4 or 5, I found out as a teen that my mom and step dad were together before it was final, and my mom preggo. but Bio-Dad (as i call him) was oppressive, wouldn't let her drive or work, so there was good reason to split on both sides. and I turned out ok, mostly. we all have our share of misfortune, and life altering experiences, but if you don't learn from them, they will never have a benefit.
