If I were still a libertarian, I would. Because I don't not trust former drug czar's to represent a libertarian platform.
i will more than likely write in paul.. if gravel would have gotten the libertarian nomination i may have voted for him,(i did have some issues with the democrat switching to libertarian mid candidacy),but there is no way in hell i would ever vote for bob barr.. and it has little to do with his former stance on drugs.. anyone that would bother to do research on barr would see he never was a "drug czar" for any administration although he did single handedly stop us from being able to vote on whether to allow medical marijuana with the barr amendment as well as spending most of his political career prosecuting the war on drugs.. no thats just the tip of the iceberg with barr.. trust me i know, i could go into great detail on the FACTS about barr. he was U.S. attorney northern district of my state as well as one of my states congressman till he lost his seat through redistricting.. but thats not what this thread is about.. just thought i would correct some misinformation by a misinformed poster... but yeah,, i will probably write in ron paul...
Wow, HHB, I had SO much respect for you previously, and this thread just increased it tenfold. Yes, I'm writing in Paul.
its a political statement aristartle.. no one expects anything but to make a statement with there vote... geeze your so cynical.. what do you care anyway? your not even american..
Cynical, eh? I was just wondering if you were expecting or hoping to get some kind of response. I don't know enough of Ron Paul to expect a response. Why do I care you ask? Well, why do you think I care? I'm Canadian... take a big wild guess!
sure, he's got my vote. Some say that voting for the guy that will obviously not win is wasting my vote.... well... I disagree. I think it's the complete opposite.... Ron Paul is the only candidate whose principals I agree with. His actions, time and time again, prove his words. I refuse to vote for the lesser of evils when there is an honest and uncorrupt man fighting for what he believes in. There is a lot to be said for a man like Ron Paul- in a government full of grandstanding, rubber stamping politicians voting with the establishment along party lines, a man like Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich is a real rarity.
that was only for the southern district . that is not what the phrase "drug czar" represents . like i said before, i can give you all the factual information if you would like so you dont look so misinformed..
that certainly hasnt helped you to this point.... lol,, must make you feel like a fucking retard that a illiterate is more informed than you?? i know at this point your sure looking like one to everyone else.. LMAO...
