Me and my brother are currently argueing over this following question: Who rocked hardest (or best, whatever)?

musicaly both bands only knew like 3 chords.. the pistols definately had more of acultural impact but the ramones had more of a clasic style.. itsatough call so i refused to vote..
but ..burning spear or steel pulse or isreal vibrations blow both away..musicaly speaking that is
if the questions whos louder the pistols..lol

i dont listen to either of them enough to know. But from what i have heard, i would have to say sex pistols rock harder, but the ramones set a better legacy then the sex pistols. But like i said, i dont know enough to judge.

 

The Ramones were bubblegum pop.

 

I don't deny that.
But when it comes to early punk, I'd rather listen to PUNK not pop.

at least the ramones could play their instruments. sex pistols were just a bunch of shit heads who got lucky.
