I think the only one who could get us on track is Ron Paul but he's not "popular" enough according to MSM. I think I would like to continue to try and make him popular enough though. I can still write him in.
Yea Ron! McCain has military written all over him. If I was asked to pick who was a military man out of a lineup of total strangers, I'd pick him. Totally setting aside the fact of him being a candidate, if he was just some random guy who lived in these parts, I'd say he's the kind of guy who would drive one of those enormous 4x4 gas guzzlers, only hobnob with the big boys on the block, and expect to be called sir! He'd belong to the local hunting club, be a closet KKK, maybe mountain militia/white supremacists. He'd make a good marine. or a cop. or a judge or magistrate maybe. That's just what I see when I look at him. I figure a lot of folks see that too, if they look. WV doesn't need to worry about it none tho. We only vote for losers like Romney and Hillary...
Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with popularity. The Mainstream Media picks who they want to win. They pick the candidate that follows in line with their agenda. And lo and behold, that candidate wins. It happens every freakin time. The media decides who gets to be popular. Ron Paul was not on the side of the greedy corporations. He was on OUR side. The media wants a man who is on THEIR side. So they choose their man. The media makes Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel, and Ron Paul dissapear. Like they don't even exist. The people vote for who they're told to vote for.
It does not matter where you live. The planet is not all that big. The US seems to have taken on the roll of world police. And so it would make sense that the WORLD gets to vote for US president. Because the US president DOES have an effect on the rest of the world. SURELY you have heard of that pesky thing called the NWO? I don't think Canada is exempt last time I checked...
YES IT IS! And in your case I'll cast my vote for Mario Lemieux as the greatest hockey player of all time, but personally I'd love Paul Coffey to run things.
The US doesn't have to be the policemen of the world... It is becoming more obvious by the day that we cannot afford it... There are so many people here in the US that think we aren't doing enough for the world- for example- Darfur, Mexican Femicide.... there are a few others, but what Im trying to get at is that the US needs to take care of the domestic issues WAY before we send aid to Darfur... I'm not suggesting a Nanny State (GOD NO!!!) but our own people must come before the people of Darfur, the women of Mexico, or the Tibetans. Our politicians must realize this... it is the first step towards moving towards a foreign policy of Non-interventionism. Darfur is important, of course, and other countries should be willing to step in once in a while and help... Help should come from the US, but it should come from charities and other organizations... We don't need another alliance to entangle.
Well from what I have heard USA Canada, and Mexico are going to become one nation very soon and if McCain wins he will be able to fuck over Canada and Mexico too. Don't feel special there pal
