Hello, I've been a reader here for a long time and just recently started posting on this forum. I wouldn;t consider myself a true-blue hippy but i also wouldnt say im a non-hippy..so I guess Im lost. I normally don't like labels for people but Im lost as to who I am. My mentality is pretty darn hippie is you ask me, however If you saw me I'd doubt you'd think I was a hipster, (like most people do not) Do any of you feel this way? or what?
You're you, genius. Why can't you just accept that you're a nine-teen year old male from Pennsylvania? Why do you feel the need to label yourself? You can be as many things as you want. Don't be another blip on the radar screen.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Buddy, you're you. Don't try to be a hippie. Be yourself. If you are a hippie (what people say is a hippie) it will shine through when you are yourself.
harm none and do what you will. be what you will change what you will take in what you will claim what you will peace & light
At 19 -- i was very confused and drunk most of the time ....lol But seriously, as long as you accept you for you, you will eventually find yourself and your place in the world.
I went through that too, then decided I had bigger and better things to worry. Now my only 'labels' are Sage and my real name (depending on the company). Nothing else actually matters. Beautifully worded, I totally agree I'd like to add, to thyself be true.
haha that post just made me crack up yeah it does seem like a lot of teenagers today are bi...maybe some are but im not exactly sure about all of them...i guess its trendy these days
its not that im concerned of what people think because im totally cool with who i am..i was just wondering if anyone else felt that way..thats all really, but thank you all for your relpys..some sound advice
