Hey Raccoon.. hm.. could you maybe read some threads in this forum first, 'cause I think most of your answers will be answered then. Feel free to ask more specific questions after that. It's just that I get a little tired of answering the same questions over and over :) Hint: 'cannabis cafes' isn't really a word that is used here.. it's called coffeeshop, which I agree, is a bit confusing (although you can get coffee there as well).

Let me know if you got more specific questions!

"and some one told me that the legal drinking age is 16 there and u can go into bars and clubs "........You have to be 16+ to buy wines and beers, 18+ to buy spirits

You're wrong there mate.. you're not allowed in a coffeeshop under 18, period. Some coffeeshops may be more lenient, but the official rule is that they can get closed down when they have minors inside. We had this discussion on this forum numerous times and most of us agreed that it's not the best thing to do, going into a coffeeshop as a minor, because you put the shop at risk that way.

As I said.. some coffeeshops don't ID a lot, others do.. so if you're <18 and you want to get in, you basically need just some goodluck. Although the 'ethical' question stays. A few years ago most places weren't that harsh.. I went into a local coffeeshop at 16 without any problem.. but now I'm 23 and I get ID'd most of the time (I look younger though).

So.. bottomline: officially you're not allowed inside any coffeeshop when under 18.
