i think i'll get rid of the dam cell phone. theres pay phones everywhere, i can just use them....as long as i have a quartre. or i could call collect.... benefit: people cant contact me, i only have the power to chose to call them.
Unfortunately, I would not want to part with my cell phone for two reasons, one, because it's very difficult to get hold of me on my home phone so if you can't get hold of me that way, you can call my cell, and if I don't answer that, you can leave a voicemail message that I will (eventually) check. Reason two, well, for me, it's a safety issue. If I'm out and about with all of my children and something happens, at least I know that I can call for help. Those are the only times I use it really.
imagine that,,,who wants to call a pedophile?? i had a cell phone once,,,well not me,, the psycho bitch,,i think it was like 8 years ago.. vanity tag,,took dilligafs brat to airport yesterday,,i can say i saw a pattern,,folks sittin in traffic in babylon seem to think its the "look" to be drivin a car they cant afford while talkin mindlessly to someone who probably could be doin better things,,while probably actually wonderin why they even care about useless trinkets that society dictates is a must have!!!!!!!!!!
I would be lost without my cell phone. I'm away at college but kept the same cell phone number so my parents and grandparents can call me without running up their long distance bills. Also, I can call home (free night and weekend minutes) and not run up a phone bill in my dorm. So0o0o..... yeah, mine is pretty much here to stay! ...also comes in handy when I get lost driving in the big city I go to school in!
I bet it sucks to have such an attachment to wires and plastic. But you wouldn't know that because you love it.
ergh alex i know how you feel i hate cell phones i just paid 300 bucks for 2 months...yikes. plus with the money you can save from not having one you can buy really cute shoes
I dont have and dont want a cell phone. ITs just another bill to have. They only started getting really popular a few years ago, and our society is already dependant on them. thats sad. I try to live away from the normal.
when the phone rings i dont get excited actually I dont even get up sometimes i listen to people on the answering machine who r pissed off I never talk to them but they dont say 'hey pick up if ur around' so I dont get up
I hope to never own one again. I have a voice mail at work and voice mail at home - I check them both once a day. Thats plenty enough for me. I don't feel the need to be 'in touch' with everyone at all times.
