I'm not quite following the Maths part of the convorsation... So for ease, I'm gonna say mathematics...

Maths seems to me what you would say if you're referring to, say, both calculus and geometry at the same time... but if you're gonna talk about it as a field, I'd say its plain ol' Math...

Which I happen to love very deeply. I find it fun.

 

But maths...sounds so not American. And I am an American, so for me to say "math-ssssss" is just awkward.

I'm sorry. We really did fuck language right in the ass.

I'm taking Geometry II


Buttt... my favorite classes are probably DE US History (III) and DE English... as well as HVAC. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with the high school BS anymore. I basically just chill with people after I get back from morning classes, for a couple hours... I still take English there and all. Oh, I could never give up my English teacher. His classes make my day.

I can't stand math, but I know we've all taken Algebra at some point... so, I've made up political equations on domestic decisions.. a few world decisions, but they can be too unpredictable and abstract. The drawback is that it can only have approximate equality and you figure the statistics and percentages of an event that could possibly happen from multiple sources (lotsa polls, face it... alot of them are obviously not accurate, but why not guestimate)... Though it's totally worth it, to me.

The best part is creating the formulas... which can be often be multiplied by total bullshit, which, you could say, is my version of pi.

I'm only in an essentials course so I can do as little work as possible. Ideally, I could be in academic... but.. I don't see myself having a career using math at all, so my guidance counsellor said "oh just take the essentials personal finance."

and I did.
