I think college has its reputation as "slut central" because a lot of people there have their own places for the first time, and it's only natural to OD on the freedom. Personally, I don't consider promiscuity a bad thing as long as it's honest, and who cares what anyone who isn't me thinks.

Yeah, that seems to be so true. I just started in uni this fall and I'm living in a dorm (which was definitely a mistake, but since I moved here from Finland and in less than two months' notice, I really didn't have much choice...) where most of the people are 18 and have just moved away from their parents' house. They've gone crazy with all the freedom they have now, which wass actually kinda fun for the first few days, but not so fun anymore, especially not at 4:30am in the morning... and especially when you have a lecture at 9am. I don't mind partying myself... in fact I love it and I love to have sex, but people should just remember that the walls in the dorms are really thin.
